As horrific as this incident was, it was not unique. According to a new study from the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University, anti-Muslim hate crimes increased in 2015, coinciding with attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California, and the rise of Donald Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee for president who has called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States.

I don't even give a # about that issue. The poster above is right, hate crimes are in direct correlation to terrorist attacks, you know the kind where people get killed.
Do you care that innocent people are paying for those terrorist attacks? People that didn't participate?
Carter, a nice peanut farming democrat said that he would deport Muslims...and he did. He round them up and deporting 10's of thousands.

he said he wants to deport muslims.
He never said that. You are mistaken.
That is not entirely correct. When asked by a supporter "When can we get rid of them?", in reference to Muslims, Trump said "We're going to be looking at a lot of different things. You know, a lot of people are saying that, and a lot of people are saying that bad things are happening out there. We're going to look at that and plenty of other things".
www.washingtonpost.com...
So where does he specifically say he'll deport Muslims? Or are you just extrapolating because you're anti_trump?

That is very disingenuous. Carter deported Iranians in the country on Visas during the Iranian hostage crisis. The country of origin was the focus, not religion.

Really HOW is that.
The Iranian 'revolution' was a bunch of MUSLIMS that over threw their government in favor of a THEOCRACY.

What does that have to do with Carter using visa revocation of Iranians to put pressure on Iran? It had to do with their country of origin, not their religion.
Surely you know the difference.
I'm puzzled by your ever shifting standards. When talking about Trump, you claim it's racist to say some illegal immigrants coming from Mexico are rapists and criminals.
How is criticizing a small percentage of a very specific group of people from a country equal to racism, but deporting people because of their nationality is A-OK?

The DIFFERENCE is MUSLIMS identify themselves as MUSLIM before anything else.
That whole DEAL was about religion.
Then take issue with the Muslims. What Carter did was directed at Iranians, not Muslims.

The second the revolution began Iran ceased to exist.
It became a MUSLIM state.
