Never heard of the bloke....I'm still lost as to how someone can be a gay catholic jew!

In this era . . . when . . . as prophesied . . .

black is called white

evil is called good

good is called evil

. . .

when dictionaries are composed of 'whatever meaning feels good at the time' . . .

when "microaggression" is taken seriously . . .

when a demonized charlatan at the top of government still has a messianic following . . .

he seems to fit right in.

Besides, he says things long in need of being said.

I find Obama to be incredibly racially divisive, and I also find much of academia to be the same. So I am justified in acting out like these protesters? Or is it only minorities and people on the left that are allowed to be outraged.

I think that even though there are many people that say things I disagree with, they absolutely have the right to say it, and they have the right to speak in public without being silenced.

BINGO!

ABSOLUTELY INDEED.

What compliant tools of the tyrannical oligarchy. They fail to realize that they will be among the first to the gas chambers. The tyrants always do thusly. They KNOW that their traitorous early supporters are toooooo dangerous and clueless to be allowed to remain alive in their new tyrannical regime.

you say milo seems like a know it all.

I wasn't right about everything, but still think Milo seems Narcissistic.

He's an act.

Milo is a button pusher. That's what he does.

An emotional response is a surprise?

As I understand it the Milo supporters way outnumbered the feminist supporters.

Security should have done a better job.

This has nothing to do with Obama.

What does this even mean? He says things left wingers don't like so it's pushing buttons? It's like doing things Muslims don't like is "pushing their buttons". Yet the left can say or do whatever it likes to it's political opponents and it's never described as "pushing buttons".

Milo tells the hard truth and left wingers are threatened by it because they can't refute him. Instead they flail and attack like you're doing now.

I'm loving all the emotional responses.

I will continue to try to see through them.

My favorite quote from Milo, is how he responds when someone calls him a "racist":

"Darling, I have the best affirmative action plan in the country-- in my bedroom."

For someone who didn't know anything about Milo, you sure have become super invested in this thread. The people who disrupted this talk were BLM protesters, not feminist supporters. As far as seeing through emotional responses and button-pushing, you revved up your "never mind the topic of this thread, listen to what I think of this guy" rhetoric rather quickly - which buttons of yours got pushed?

If you so badly want this to become the Annee Reviews Milo Thread...why not go ahead and start that thread?

So what he is a button pusher? This does not give people the right to silence him, make threats, and barrage into an event and shut it down in this way.

But am I surprised, no. Progressives have no problem doing this to people, even other progressives who slightly deviate from message. Watch milos debate with feminist Julie bindel, and she talks about being shut down for slightly deviating from the progressive line.

You say this has nothing to do with Obama and you a sort of right. It has to do with authoritarian progressives shutting down people that disagree with them, but you are making excuses for them because Milo is a button pusher. I bring up Obama and others because people on the right feel like he is a button pusher, and so I asked you if try would be justified acting like this.

It is time to call out the blatant truth, protesters like this on the left that claim to be peaceful and all inclusive are violent authoritarians and academia and the current administration encourage this behaviour. If the right would act like this, they would be demonized as racists or misogynist and the security would detained them and they would have been arrested.

By the way you are making excuses for these protesters, I think you probably like this paradigm.

Well, when someone has come to speak to an audience and people in the audience keep making it impossible(not saying they made it impossible in this particular video as I haven't seen the whole video yet, but this does happen regularly) is there no room to evict them if they're being a nuisance?

I want to compare this to an audience watching a movie in a cinema, if a group of people were constantly yelling making it impossible to watch the movie, wouldn't they be evicted? Are they censoring free speech for evicting these people?

Where's the major difference in these two examples? We do have specific rules for certain places and certain events. Why are they letting people get away with ruining these talks rendering them fruitless? And why are people protesting people that are complaining about people ruining events like these? This is savage and uncivilised behaviour, citing freedom of speech is a cop-out. I can't go wherever the hell I want being obnoxious and screaming, I would be arrested and or evicted for doing this in a lot of places.

I don't understand it.. this should be a non issue but it isn't.. humanity can't get a single damn thing right.

I'm a learner. Can't even watch a historical drama on TV without a laptop in hand to follow what's factual and what isn't.

Still think Milo is Narcissistic. Obviously intelligent.

As a person who wants the facts, I get that part.

But, he's created a "character career" in getting his opponents to emotionally respond to what he says.

Emotions will never win over fact. As he says: "The audience does my job for me".

So since Milo is capable of having an intelligent debate, he is the cause of violence against him.

I disagree.

I think throughout history

emotions have TENDED to rule over facts.

Appearances have ruled over reality.

Propaganda has ruled over truth.

Chaotic in-your-face disruptors have often won the day or at least gotten the air time they sought.

And that . . . often . . . through emotions.

"Twist and Shout"

It remains to be seen if Milo can have an intelligent debate.
