I love historical photos, especially those that are a little bit less common. They illustrate a time and place that is no more, and can bring to life events we may ony have read about. I have little to say other than letting the photos speak for themselves.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev as a young man

A young Bill Clinton shaking hands with John F. Kennedy

Segregated washing.

Young Germans burning money during hyperinflation.

Marilyn Monroe and the Reagans.

George Orwell holding a puppy during the Spanish Civil War

Georges Blind, a member of the French resistance, smiling in front of a firing squad.

Adolf Hitler and Albert Speer looking at the new 800 mm super heavy rail gun.

Young Stalin, almost looking like a hipster.

Students protesting segregation.

Bodies in Guyana after the Jonestown Massacre.

One of the only two known photographs in existence of the infamous Billy the Kid, 1879

Iconic Hollywood Sign in 1923 . the "Land" was dropped from it in 1949

Stalin is pretty slick there, he looks a lot like the guy that works at the 711 down the street, but a gay version of stalin.

Yes, my bad. I meant integration, but didn't pick up on the error until after the edit time had expired.

You women have no standards.

Medvedev looked like a young punk. Probably listened to the Sex Pistols and slam danced.
