Walking out the cargo bay of a C-130. With a chute on of course . No , and I mean no ,rush like that in the entire world.
It feels like you hang there in mid-air for an eternity . Then you feel an intense need to give praise to all Supreme Beings that you can think of , that your chute deployed.

To get as close as possible without having been in the military: Go to the local airport , etc. The first time will be piggyback with a skilled jump instructor.

Take a walk someplace natural. No technology. No one. Go alone. Listen to the birds sing and talk with the squirrels. I mean it. Talk with them. Just listen to it all. Embrace it. Look at the beauty around you. Find someplace to sit and turn to see the gates of heaven. I don't believe in those fables, but look at them. To the sunset I mean. Watch the setting sun. Then. When you've watched it for a while. Make your way back home with all that you've felt, heard, seen and learned. I love this trip. I love taking it.

Living a week or two without electricity, internet, video games and television.
Just to get some practice in on the possibility if the grid goes down.

Play Dungeons & Dragons. There are few experiences as delightful as creating a spontaneous narrative and killing monsters with your friends. 🍺

That's a great idea for ATS! A game of online D&D here. Or it sounds like fun
I don't know anyone who would play.

I recommend being with an Asian women for ten long years. Then when she leaves you feel what life is really about!
Overall she is a good person!

I think that someone has had a bad day and needs a hug.

You're right. It has been a bad day and my dear wife is out of town. The whiskey is probably not making me any nicer.
I will try to correct what I have done. Thank you.

Take a walk on the Wiltshire hills, through wild flowers and the skylark's song.

I would recommend simple pleasures.

Stare deeply into the eyes of another person or animal that you love and ask yourself: "what separates this entity from myself? What lies beyond those eyes?"

Beware if doing the same while looking in the mirror because "if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you." (partial famous Nietzsche quote).

Hiking in the mountains to where you can drink the water coming out of them. Eat the edible plants and fruits that abound while hiking in them mountains.

Give a complete stranger $100.00 for their excellent service in serving you food. Or, pay the bill for meds (at a pharmacy) for an elderly person, who stumbles to find their money.

A great way to tune in to the true heart of people today.

I absolutely love the reaction.
