Ok but he pleaded guilty to every count so he didn't make any deal.
Plus there was never any evidence that he had anything. That is all internet rumor. There is not one shred of evidence to support his claim. And you guys are the only ones who believe he has these files.

please tell me you're for real

please !!

Do you have a reason to think the court documents are false?

This isn't facebook or the MSNBC comment section !!

Hello? McFly? Can you not read?

The FBI is looking to get Lazar to help them establish their case that Clinton’s server may have been breached by hackers. This could earn Lazar a plea agreement which would give him a reduced sentence. Guccifer says he is willing to cooperate with the US government. He claims to have hidden 2 GB of confidential data which he adds is a matter of national security.

If it makes you feel better, go for it. Maybe I should have reported you for hurling profanity at me in the past, but I figured it would serve no purpose as words on an internet forum have only the value and power I give them; and yours are growing less valuable with each post.

The facts are that Guccifer has entered in to a plea bargain with the United State government. As part of the agreement, the majority of the charges are being dismissed and he is being granted immunity from further prosecution. He has agreed to answer truthfully and completely all questuons he may be asked and to provide any and all relevant records in whatever format they might exist.

Now unless you can find an actual, more recent, court order showing where this is not the case your insistence upon claiming he is still facing all charges brought against him is fantasy.

Um... the first paragraph says:

"Marcel Lehel Lazar, 44, of Arad, Romania, a hacker who used the online moniker “Guccifer,” pleaded guilty today to unauthorized access to a protected computer and aggravated identity theft."

Sounds like two charges only. Hmmm.

Good source! Backs up what j&c has been saying!

The court documents don't say he had any Clinton information either. Still speculating on what the terms are.
Hillary is still not backing out or turning tail and hiding so I'm thinking there's still no crime that she committed and she's not worried.

The court docs only address the plea bargain.

The info the FBI has from "The Gucci" are part of the ongoing investigation and not public (yet).

And remember some docs are already sealed by the court.

Wink Wink.

You're right, the released court documents do not mention the Clinton case.

Remember. There are still two other documents that were filed under seal.

And you're also correct that she isn't dropping out or turning tail.

Instead, she is applying spin and engaging in massive damage control.

Obviously she still has her supporters who believe her version of events (... ... ...), but when faced with objective and verifiable fact, their arguments crumble.

You're welcome, by the way.

I have to chuckle when a Clinton supporter calls someone a liar.
Especially since the State Department IG report came out.

By the way, the court documents do indeed mention Blumenthal, who is directly related to the entire email debacle.

Blumenthal is "Victim 3":

As TSG first reported in March 2013, “Guccifer” illegally accessed the AOL e-mail account of Sidney Blumenthal, who worked as a senior White House adviser to President Bill Clinton, and later became a senior adviser to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

It looks like Bush 43's sister was victim #1. Powell was victim #3. And Blumemthal victim #5. If this article is correct.

AP story regarding victims

Blumenthal is mentioned in the legal paperwork, I was incorrect as to his identification.

If they expected him to be sentenced, then they would have sought an indefinite extradition, no?

america's history of extradition is lamentable, at best.
a refusal to send people, amanda knox would never have served time if the correct decision came through, forcing italy to basically mistrial, hiding ira terrorists.
to demanding extradition on their terms.
no surprise romania gave a short leash here.
if anything sensitive had been obtained, he would have 'disappeared' , however it appears its only low level communications, a short prison stay suits the government, no doubt a book deal with royalties awaiting release for the hacker.

for republicans its a godsend, this is, this years election 'scandal', they will want the trial to drag on.
for democrats, losing a mass of uneducated voters did not truly affect them during the repeated birther indictments, but people are stupid, just look around here! some will believe anything.
they just want this to go away, quickly.
which party holds office?

We have quite a few of Mrs.Clintons staff and State Department staff still to be deposed in the FOIA case.

Even if we don't get to see the video.

Judge Emmet G. Sullivan was appointed by Bill Clinton.

Perhaps he is part of a "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy"?

Or perhaps Mrs.Clinton has miscalculated badly.
