In 1960 in London at the time of clearing the site for construction of a new residential neighborhood, the old long-abandoned mansion belonged to Thomas Theodore Merlin was sent for demolition. In the basement of the home builders have discovered several thousand small wooden boxes tightly sealed. Imagine their surprise when they began to find inside the bodies of strange mythical creatures, which seemed to have been living only in fairy tales.

Upfront, it's very interesting and cool to examine.

Here's a link where there are tons of pictures.

I'm at work or I'd get busy debunking. I'll wait to see who can.

(if they can)

ETA: It's art. Probably enough hoax material to keep ATS interested for years, lol.

What bothers me about this stuff
Everything, no real comments, no real links, just a cut and paste clip with images on YouTube that could have come from anywhere

I mean the introduction of the thread is the same as the introduction of the YouTube clip
Are you the same person, where did the information come from

Do you have anything else that validates this

As eisegesis said, nice art

My initial thoughts are that these items are created.. maybe as a hobby or he may have been a hoaxer of some sort..
It just seems too good to be true to find all this stuff in one place.

Great to watch, I liked the winged rocking horse the best - but how would you ride it?

www.merrylinmuseum.com... This gives more information on Thomas Theodore Merlin. Apparently from reading a bit of it as I am in a hurry this man although aged 80 only looked 45 and was quite an enigma in himself.

Great thread and lovely video I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you its something I hadn't seen before. I wanted to ask where these specimens are now and have they been tested to be found real or not?

I find it extremely hard to believe that if someone discovered a fairy that it wouldn't be national news...

Hell, people see Jesus in their toast and it makes headlines the same day.

I think if you google this, you fill find that there is no record of it prior to June 26 2014, when the website: www.merrylinmuseum.com... was originally registered.

The site administrator lives in Hampshire, UK.

The "museum" is fantasy as it explains in the blog.

Mods, move this one to the hoax bin.

OP, if it took me less then ten minutes, at work, to debunk this, why couldn't you have done the same? You could have still shared this as an artist's work and it probably would have been very popular here. We need more people that will examine their sources and dig a little before creating a thread in order to improve the accuracy of the delivery.

On that note...

I banish your flags from whence they came!

If these are created by an artist then he was a bad ass. And it looks like it is an artist.

Just looks like a bunch of props. One of them looks like a vampire hunter prop set I've seen be for. Even if they're all props they've nicely done. It looks like they've used images from lots of different ones since the bone structure does not match up from things that look like they should share a similar structure.
