I have a couple, but they are on their last legs now as they are very old.

I prefer kimonos. When I was a teen, my friend and I used to go to another town where they had a Chinese shop and the most gorgeous and affordable silk and satin kimonos! I liked the little cloth shoes they had too. Once got a pair of black velvet ones you don't normally see.

They are not from China - I got mine in Bangladesh many yaers ago. Also Indian guys sometimes wear them, and they are also worn in Sri Lanka too.

ETA - name is lungi in Bangla, also used in English.
