A man does not care what someone else thinks and does the right thing, regardless of the situation and a real man does not put themselves in a position to blame others for their own inadequacies.

Wow, you almost sound like a conservative with that right there, with your insinuations of moral rectitude and personal responsibility.

You feeling ok?

To an extent. I honestly don't mind the homosexual community. If you want to do that then do it. I can't stop you nor should I. You have free will to do so and that's your choice not mine.

Yes, this right here. If everyone in this world would abide by this then there would be no need for any "blackmail".

I fully believe that Obama did this as a middle finger to someone, something.

He recently had a Federal case that rejected Obamacare funding as unconstitutional, because the IDIOTS that swore by it, never had the assurance of appropriations. (Told ya so)

And then BOOM, a subject that wasn't even being DISCUSSED just two months ago, now has the Federal Government dictating what would be a State issue, with the use of the Department of Education, the heavy hand of the Federal Government.

You have this issue backwards. Transgender people look like the opposite sex. The law you support would actually promote people who look like men walking into the women's restroom.

Surely you can understand why some people are concerned about a government mandate. It opens a can of worms and makes an issue out of something that was never an issue.

About as concerned over the government mandate that ended segregation.

Also, if transgendereds using bathrooms isn't an issue( and don't get me wrong, it's not really, it's another distraction being used by both sides- but it's also a rights issue) then conservatives shouldn't be passing laws banning trans folk from the bathroom of their identification and if those states weren't discriminating against people the federal government wouldn't be stepping in with a mandate.

You're using men walking into a women's bathroom as an example but that's exactly what you'd end up with if you ban trans folk from the bathrooms they identify with; mid and late transition people who already look like their to-be-assigned gender walking into the restroom. Life's hard enough for them already now you're going to force them into the wrong bathroom, and putting them through uneccesary hardship, punishing innocent citizens if anti-trans laws are allowed to pass.

You can take my word on the following examples or look them up yourself-
Buck Angel, a trans pornstar was born a woman, has a vagina, and is one of the manliest looking men you'll ever see.
Bailey Jay, the internets favorite shemale still has a penis, but otherwise easily passes as a woman.

America needs to just grow up and stop worrying about where people go to pee.

For someone who likes freedom, are you sure you aren't on the wrong side of the bathroom issue? You should be supporting a transgender person's right to use the restroom of their choice. And for someone who loves others, why are you so against transgenders? They are people too.

Hmmm, interesting...."Rights"

What about the RIGHTS of the women/girls/females that are IN the bathrooms and showers?

Remember them? 50% of the planet....roughly?

The language states those who "identify as".

I guess you should ask women if they support Equal Rights/Equal Treatment.

I am woman. I support the right of transgenders to choose that which they identify with.

Please explain. I didn't realize there was an explanation in Obama's mandate regarding appearance, dress, or any other outer identifier. I thought it was based on whatever a person identified as psychologically.

What law do I support???

That's part of the problem. People think the definition of what it means to be a man is defined by political ideology. Conservatives do not have the market cornered on manhood. In fact, I call the conservatives-out on their lack of balls.

I may be a socialist, but I still open doors. I speak my mind when asked and I accept the consequences of it. I am honest and I am willing to take the long, rough road if it means that I do the right thing.

It reflects on my relationships with people in my life. I'm proud of them and proud to be part of their life. But it would not be that way if I blamed others and did not take my role as a man seriously.

Also, come to Los Angeles some time and I'll take you to WEHO, NOHO, Vine street, Sunset at night...and we'll see how many "Trannies" we can spot.

Hint : There's a lot. And many are NOT feminine. They're on drugs. They have multiple mental issues. They're broke. And they aren't fully 'transitioned'

And what about the women that disagree with you?

The TENS OF MILLIONS.???

Or do you speak for all women?

I understood what he meant. He's upset that states cannot trump that of the federal ruling. To him it's not really about transgenderism but about the states' right to vote and make their own rules. That's why I asked him if he would be this upset if he was living in the 60's. Sorry if I'm not being clear since it's Saturday night and I'm drinking.

Cross dressers and Drag Queens are not transgenders.

Gender Dysphoria is recognized as a medical condition. Not an act.

Exactly who's rights are being trampled on when a transgendered person uses the women's bathrooms and what "rights" are they?

So because I'd prefer my 16 yr old daughter to not have to change in front of a 16 yr old boy, nor do I want that 16 yr old boy waving his twig and berries around my daughter's locker room with her and her teammates present, I'm upset it's not the 50's anymore?

Impressive argument on your part.

What makes you think it will suddenly be legal for a boy to wave his twig and berries at them? Any more so than it already is?

Nothing I've seen in the North Carolina HB2 says anything about "waggling one's penis or vagina in somebody's face shall now be legal."

OK.

When it comes to Equality across all states - - - it is no longer an individual state issue.

It is a Federal issue.

I know drag queens, I know trannies too. I've lived almost my entire life in Los Angeles and the SAN FRANCISCO bay.

You're talking to someone who's had transexual friends and crossdressing friends.

Not some BUMPKIN from the sticks. Sorry

Answer the question please

I was born in Compton. I'm about as native as you can get. Been here almost all my life.

My kid works in Hollywood.

Why is there a "Fringe" culture? Because polite society shoved them there.
