Stop being slaves to Zionism

Jesus was not a Jew

Had he practised Judaism they would not have killed him

Romans killed him at request of other Elite Jews

Yeah

He was such a good little Jew he had to die by torture, what a fine loyal practising Jew he was

Jesus actually expands from Judaist ideas. Countless of times has he quoted from the OT, for instance to prove that he was the Messiah promised in the OT.

He was opposed by the Pharisees, not Zionists. The Pharisees refused to believe that Jesus was the Messiah as promised in their own scriptures.

Can you point to any historical sources that say he even existed
and more importantly for the sake of your thread "that he died by the Romans at the request of the Jews"
Will be waiting

Wrong

Jesus expanded on HUMANIST AND MORAL ideas

Which by the way are part of almost every religion on earth

In my opinion Jews don't integrate well and teach each other exceptionalism

Irish used to do it

Italians used to do it

Basqs do it to this day

Etc

Any historical source can be argued to be anecdotal at best. What's your motivation to exclude the dozen or so of books which do write about his life, death and teachings?

Just because they're religious doesn't make them any less important of testimonials - ignoring testimonials for such reasons would form ad hominem logical fallacies.

There are many good reasons not to be slaves to zionism, but this is not one of them.
Jesus was certainly a Jew ethnically.
Yes, there was a clash between the teaching of Jesus and the Jewish religion as it was currently being practised, but arguably this was because he was doing it better. He was trying to take them back to the original roots.

I would agree, though, that the way to approach Jesus is not through modern Judaism or the literal understanding of the Old Testament. "The Israel of God" are those who glory only in the cross of Christ (Galatians ch6 vv14-15).

Is that not kind of prejudice?

There were plenty of jews who followed (or at least respected) Jesus, and there are who still do.

Not all jews subscribe to the same beliefs.

The first problem you have is confusing middle eastern looking men with religion

Jews used to look like Muslims

They are whiter skinned now due to European mixing and lot of fake citizens

Are you talking religion or race ?

My motivation: respect for the dead. Archaeological researches have found evidences that Jesus did exist, and that so did James, whose tomb has been found BTW.

Your turn.

Huh??

What the heck are you even talking about??

"Muslim" is not a race, it's a religion - no one can actually "look like Muslim", it's not as if there are guys born with a moon crescent shaped navel or something.

You sure you're not the one being confused?

My motivation is truth

Why are you even discussing Jesus in religion thread when you are not Christian

Some people should answer their calling and go bulldoze Palestinians and build new Israeli settlements

Can I point out something? Your original question "what's your motivation?" was addressed to a different poster, and I think the OP applied it to himself accidentally. There may be a little confusion in the conversation between you.

I like you

But for some reason you don't seem to understand morality

As if you are waiting for something to make your choice

Because unlike some, I know that I have more probability finding Truth when I open my mind to concepts I don't necessarily believe in.
