ATS... Changing Tides

I used to think about the same thing.

I left this board for about 2-3 months because I just got bored of it, came back and now I'm really happy about this board and what has been done to it.

Let me clarify i wasnt saying the new memebers post are of lesser quality. Yall are great im glad we have memeber liek yall addin some new spice here on ATS.

Questor. I have not noticed a change in your demeanor, I haven't been around long enough. But if you had a genuine research interest, I hope this board is useful to you. Wonder what it is.

I have tended to get caught up too much in the binary nature of the US political system, not much I can do to change people's perception that in reality it's not about Republicans and Democrats. Nothing to do with me. I would hate to live in a country where you look down a list of senators and find just two parties represented. Ridiculous. (Waits for comparison with Iraq elections).

Gazrok. By your analysis, it seems I prefer the M part of S & M. Never thought of that.

the only issue i have is the fact that the 'secret societies' & 'new world order' forums are dying...
it's upsetting because these were the two topics that initially got me to join ats.
i mean, they used to be just as active as 'chit chat'...
and was abundant with an unimaginable amount of information and resources.
(MidnightDStroyer was probably one of the few that were dedicated to these threads... when is he coming back anyway?)

of course, this can't be blamed on the new users... the least that they're doing is keeping the spirit of ats alive.

I love ATS. It is much better than my joke of a board, metatus.com. Drunk moderated a couple of topics, there. Let the hazing rituals begin on drunk and myself then. Mashimaro is also a newbie I brought in. I would suggest you haze him, but I am sure he would enjoy it.
