Sometimes I paint fruit and sometimes I don't

Have you ever tried acrylic or any other paint medium aside from oil? Or do you just prefer oil painting?

I kind of paint in everything. I am not a painter though I just recently started teaching myself how to paint, I am back and forth between everything all mediums.
I think this was my first painting I ever seriously attempted like back in the 90s or early 2000's. Then I didn't really do any painting until maybe a year ago or less.

I came back to match a paint sample to your lovely "Peaches" and saw your street scene painting. You have been hiding your light under a bushel. Honestly the street scene is great. Is that Boston or London?

Your paintings have real charm - I like your perspective. And. Please don't change your Peaches, love them as is.

No. I hadn't. But I went and looked...dark has it's own charm too...not my gig but very interesting. You are blessed to be so gifted.

Thank you, I have been doing a lot of practicing so hopefully I learn more and get even better. Don't worry about the peaches, I wont touch them for a couple of days at least so the paint dries, and after that all I am going to do is touch ups and some highlighting on the liquid and shinier surfaces, other then that they will remain the same. This was only meant to be a practice piece for me anyways. Soon though I am going to try to learn a little about a wet brush technique and I think I am going to use hot peppers and maybe some glass features.

Jesus man! You say you're not an artist but you're naturally gifted!
The lighting in this is #ing perfect,as is the proportions for all the items in the perspective angle.
If the widow of John Lennon is considered an artist for screaming in a microphone,I think you seriously qualify as one.
Keep up the good quality work man,love seeing your stuff.This reminds me,I should probably get back into doing some artwork myself...

I don't feel like an artist yet, I feel more like a student of the arts or something like that. I am developing something, I do have a vision, its just I haven't realized yet what it is going to take to accomplish those things. I do appreciate the encouragement and I will always keep everyone here up to date with new projects and other things I create whether I like them or not. In the end I will be able to look at progression I make as ATS will watch me develop.
