but now I know it makes me an alien.

Oh come on, I could have told you that a long time ago. I figured you knew.

I bet you'll be depressed when you find out we all like you because we secretly just want a ride on your spaceship.

uhhh.... yeah! O_o That's the ticket......*thinking* :/

Yeah!! A leap-year baby, that's it.
I thought all leap-year babies were alien offspring!

(Well, at least he could have been, but he was stubbornly born 26 days too early. Literally kicked the door open on his way out. Obviously was under-cooked.
And was tardy to Groundhog Day by 90 minutes. sigh)

Well, that's not entirely true. I like him because he's an effective smartass, and he's my boyfriend. Actually, that's why he's my boyfriend.

Hehe, I will start a sign up list for 'spaceship' rides.

LOL!! You gonna strap me to it like the South Park kids paid to do to that poor whale?

"To the moon, Alice!" I can just see Jackie Gleason's face now.

(Plus - you should put a hat back on - you look naked now.)

Seriously though, I take it you meant 15, and 6ft4 at 15 in 2016 is about equivalent to 6ft2 at 15 in 1976. It's a big boy, but not all too freakish.

There was a thread a while back here, and one of the posts that made most sense to me was the increased nitrogen from the NPK they feed plants in fertilizer. I think that and KFC, damned genetically modified, hormone laden crap.

No, he's actually 25. Twenty-five. And it's been a long, rough road, believe me. He's still out there doing weird things though. I'm sure far more things than I want to know about.
With him, "no news" really is "good news."

Yep, I keep reminding myself that - males aren't fully brain-developed until about 35.

If he can just keep himself alive that much longer....I did my part for the first 18.
lol!

Sorry, but don't use my post to promote some sort of sexism or whatever. This isn't a male or female thing, this is a deviation within the species thing.

Males and females have differences in how they mature, and individuals within each respective sex may mature faster or slower than the average.

Most humans fully myelinate their prefrontal cortex by age 23, and statistics show most males quit making foolish decisions that would wind them incarcerated before the age of 25. Some of us have more healthy levels of hormones floating through their blood for years after this point. I only recently started to level out, and am 33 years of age.

What?

Friend, I was totally agreeing with you.
TOTALLY.

Yes, males and females both 'mature' at different (and unique) rates....and amongst themselves as well.

I understand, trust me - my son made foolish decisions again and again....he's just now starting to get the picture about consequences - even though he's been present for all of them.
Please don't misunderstand me.
I appreciated your moral support - in fact, ten years ago, when he was 15, I very much valued the opinions of the younger men I worked with regarding my son's behavior. It really does happen after 18.

I'm so sorry you misinterpreted my post.
