A plea to the management - Get rid of political posts.

As a followup to my previous post.

At this moment, all 5 of the top 5 stories are political. 11 (arguably 12 depending on how you want to frame the transgender issue) of the top 14 stories are political. 13 of the next 20 are political. Of the 34 stories on the main page, 29 are political. That's a greater concentration of politics than on actual news sites covering the election.

The forum model is obsolete facebook and other social media has destroyed the online forum. Obviously with a few exceptions.

I do remember ATS did eleminate political forums in a election year, I don't recall what year and for how long.

ATS isn't making money with it's ad revenue so must ask members for donations. I wonder what group is funding this site?

I have only been logging in for maybe the last 7 or 8 weeks. I was not logging on for a little over 6 or 7 months.

It's just not fun anymore to participate when it's one person versus the the rightwing gang.

It's ironic how the gang bashes Obama for being a socialist, on a site that is a socialist model.

I almost deleted this post just like I have deleted the last 5 threads I was gonna post. Lets just say I'm not expecting anything to change.
