See, there you go talking about the constitution and due process...which has nothing to do with whether either of the Clintons are criminals.
Actually, it does. That is how our government is designed to stop the mob from engaging in witch hunts...or genocide.
We all understand what is required to actually prosecute someone...and the more power you wield the more evidence is required to put you behind bars. Stop speaking in absolutes..as if the criminal justice system treats everyone equally.
I agree. Good point. But if you want to change that inequality, you have to be the change and treat people equally, regardless of you own political or personal motivations.

This is brilliant.
I can see it being very effective, and don't think
going to court is going to help Shillary in her cause.
How many court cases does she have going already,
not to mention the FBI.
You know, if Bill is guilty every time he lies about these
women, it is character defamation. Thats why the Klintons
turn tail and run away when people bring this up.

Trump will lose this battlefront around treating women poorly...and he will lose badly. His advisors have to know this, so this has to be empty threats by his campaign.
First:

VS.

Not looking to argue the veracity of each of those claims...
Just saying Trump wouldn't do well in a battle where he has to defend his history of rape allegations vs. Hillary..who is not even directly accused of raping anyone.
It's a bad fight for him to pick IMO.

I think you missed the point of the Trump attacks. He is hitting Hillary for going after the women Bill abused or had affairs with.

Oh I get the line of attack...I just think it is really, really stupid one strategically..
Trump has to defend against a history that includes actual lawsuits claiming rape and sexual harassment...and that is just before all the women come out of the wood-work to accuse him...whether truthfully or not...it happens to every candidate.
Hillary just needs to defend...uhh what? Believing her husband? Being cheated on? Not believing the women who said her husband had an affair with them etc.? Being in the wrong in defending her husband?
Who do you think women will sympathize and side with on that particular battlefront?
It is a massively losing strategy for Trump and he will emerge from that particular battle even farther behind than he is now with women.
Trumps numbers dived when he went after Cruz's wife...going after HRCs husband?
Just my 2 cents..My guess is that his advisors will abandon this strategy quickly..but if not we can find out who is right in real-time.

You may be right that it could hurt Trump more... it's difficult to judge because it's usually less about the revelation and more about how far a candidate has to fall in the polls. If it gets messy, Clinton may find her voters are easier to dislodge than Trumps.
A lot depends on how far the Clinton's want to push it.... If they do then Trump will hit back and all the Clinton's dirty laundry will come out
I don't think there are any lawsuits against Trump for rape are there?

I think Hillary doesn't walk away clean from Bill's sins. Seems there is evidance she conspired to help discredit and suppress the voices of the victiums. What is worse, the man that committed the crime or his enabler.

Yes...She is guilty of staying married to man that had an affair...
Rip her to shreds for for that on the national stage and see how the womens vote feels about it...
She wont even have to respond, she can just let the votes roll in.
All politics aside this is the stupidest strategy I have heard from the Trump campaign yet..

Funny thing about jurisprudence in the US ... people are due a fair trial.
Lawyers defend who they're assigned to defend. They would be disbarred if they didn't.
All this furor over an elderly lady in a pantsuit.
Goodness.

Rape is now considered "an affair"?
...You mean Jeffrey Epstein? Trumps good friend? Who he has been photographed with, socialized with, spoken favorably of and partied with...all public record?..The same Island of which a woman just last week claimed she was raped by Trump and Epstein at when she was 12 years old?
What about his trips to "pedophile island"?

Who did Hillary rape again? Where is the conviction in court?
Trump (not his spouse) has had real, live lawsuits filed alleging rape. His X-Wife Ivanka and a wife of a former business partner.

You said "a man that had an affair", he's a serial rapist, that's not "an affair" in most peoples book.
As for Epstein trump met him once in Florida, at least that's what he's saying. I havent seen anything to the contrary.
Alessi testified that Trump would come over to Epstein’s home for dinner — though he added that Trump “never sat at the table” but instead ate “with me in the kitchen.”
In another deposition, Epstein’s brother Mark testified he once flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane with both him and Trump, who were “friends.” Asked why Trump was on board, Mark Epstein replied, “You’ll have to ask Donald. I think he wanted a ride back to New York.”
In 2002, before those allegations surfaced, Trump told New York magazine that Epstein was a “terrific guy” who he had known for 15 years. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
