Police: Trump bumper sticker triggered vandalism

GIG HARBOR, Wash. -- A Gig Harbor man believes his car was vandalized because he supports Donald Trump for President.

The man arrested for the incident agrees, according to police.

Riley Siva pleaded not guilty to a malicious mischief charge in Gig Harbor’s municipal courtroom Wednesday morning. But when he was arrested on April 10, investigators say he confessed to the crime.

Siva is accused of slashing the tires of a Ford Focus and pouring yogurt into the car’s open sunroof while it was parked at a Gig Harbor Fred Meyer.

Police say Siva told them he attacked the vehicle because of the Trump sticker on the rear bumper. Siva allegedly told police he considered the sticker a “hate symbol” and vandalizing the car “improved the community.”

Today's liberal's mindset boils down to "people should be free to do what they want as long as it's the same thing i would do" liberals for the most part bully or censor.
One of the few famous true liberals would be bill maher and he gets trashed for more than half of what he says, it's pathetic, these are the people that should push society forward.

Obviously the victim is quite certain that the perp was a Bernie supporter..

But you are correct, the article doesn't directly say it that the guy is a Bernie supporter.

Who knows, tho does fall in line with the actions of the #bernieforpresident group.

Absolutely the offender in this case is a total A-hole and deserves to get whatever he gets. He's just perpetuating the war of ideology which is starting to go wild it seems.

This is a big problem and it's getting worse. People need to get their sh*t together on both sides of this. They need to stop grouping people based on the actions of the few first of all. Then they need to get it through their heads that whatever isn't cool for one side to do isn't cool for them to do either. It's getting out of hand.

Maybe this guy was a bernie supporter. Who knows as it doesn't say. But if he is, that doesn't mean anyone that supports him is like this guy. Same goes for the Trump crew.

Those of us on ATS should be smart enough to see what's going on with the division tactics too and not play in to them more as well.

It's almost hard to believe stories like this because of how ridiculous it is, but unfortunately it's real and sad that it even exists. Either 1 of 2 things is most likely happening here...

1. He's using the same leftist victim mentality he has been taught in school and on social media to justify a crime, which has become a trend as of late.

2. He's what is considered to be a Quantum Superstate SJW, able to exist in the position of both victim and aggressor at the same time.

If there's anyone that can't figure out why people like Milo Yiannopoulos, Ben Shapiro and Donald Trump have become so popular, it's because libtards like this have been given a free pass for the last 20 years and eventually people get fed up with these cry bullies and the pendulum starts to swing the other way.

The pendulum has already swung the other direction, like you said the liberals have had control for 20 years, and their ideology has failed miserably, and they can't accept that, "if we had just another 20 years our idealism would work." They can't accept that they are failures, always have been always will be. Now they are desperate to hold way they are about to lose, that they never really had, the larger part of the population gave them a chance for 20 and now we are so sick of them that deporting people like this is the best solution, by the way it's not just illegal immigrants that I think need to be deported, I Believe deporting anyone with this ideology is necessary, we can send them to a socialist country so they can have what they want.

Since you seem to look at it objectively. I honestly see no reason for Bernie supporters to do this. I'm unsure if any recent polls have come out, but Bernie in the past easily beat Trump one on one. I think you did a similar poll yourself here on ATS a while ago.

Another thing is Bernie's chances have dwindled pretty significantly lately and the numerous Bernie supporters I know here in Indiana are switching to vote for Trump if Bernie isn't nominated. On top of that, Hillary is known for dirty tricks. Look at how the DNC operated against Bernie. Look at how Hillary is hiring online trolls.

Look at the trend in the primaries. When the independents can vote in the primaries, Bernie beats Hillary. They are trying to deflect negative attention towards Hillary by putting Bernie supporters in a negative light while protesting Trumps rally's. Seems to be a win win situation for Hillary, and a lose lose situation for the other two candidates. Just my 2 cents.

Canada and a number of European nations are socialist and have some of the best health care and other public systems in the world right?

The reason Venezuela is crapped out with a ton of oil is because they refused to bow to US foreign policy, it has nothing to do with how much oil or how much socialism is in the country.

If you are Latin America nation you have two choices, get screwed and pimp out your resources to USA foreign policy, or suffer the wrath of not giving up everything to US foreign policy.

Same goes for MidEast nations as well, once the US foreign office, and the IMF/World Bank has its sights set on you. I'm sure its just coincidence that every single nation that had US military action against it, first denied IMF/World Bank and later (after getting blow'd up) had a central bank installed during 'nation rebuilding' efforts.
