are the pests real or from a different world (keep it coming everyone please ) this can be fun and honest

They make critter cams that aren't too expensive. If monitoring is what you want. They also make kits for growing food in tight spaces, like a small patio or deck. If you live in a smaller community where everyone (mostly) knows each other, that helps too.

The problem with the community garden back when is some people couldn't grow but weeds so stole form those who were successful.

This was part of the whole rising crime thing back then. People used to not install bars on their windows or alarm their house, leave their doors unlocked, let their children play outdoors, etc.

If you live somewhere that is still like that you can probably give it a go. First you need a plot of land nobody is trying to develop into a parking lot or apartments.
