The latest with Trump and Clinton has Trump ahead. I would imagine Trumps lead over Sanders would be larger given that Clinton's in the race. If she is knocked out I dont see Sanders doing all that well.

Interesting you should mention Nixon, I've heard comparisons between Trump and Nixon in terms of how they are carrying things in this season.

I should also point out that if Trump wins, he will have the long knives out for him on both sides of the aisle politically too. And unlike Obama, Trump will not have race armor shielding him. So while I have hopes for what he might be able to to do, I also have fears about how long it will be before he is embattled by Congress.

I can see Sanders beating Trump in the general. Clinton fans (if actual numbers exist) would by default vote for Sanders over Trump.

That is very true. I think I have only seen 1 person on here state they like Clinton and god bless them for not being afraid.

Yes, the infamous negatives ... Hillary has them too, and hers are as high as his.

Thing is, I don't think people are listening to negative press where Trump is concerned. If they were, he would have pulled himself down long ago. People are tired of the press. I'm not sure they could pull him down if they published reports of him drowning kittens. All he would have to say is that the kittens had it coming because they were horrible felines, terrible felines. He didn't want to, but after one of them scratched him, what was he supposed to do? He loves kittens really. Has had lots kittens. Tons of kittens will vote for him ... love him ...

I forsee a big deadlock between Trump and Congress, assuming it ends up in place. I think Congress will refuse to work with an outsider who has told them they are losers and ignorant. It has away been business as usual, why change now.

I think Trump was holding out on his speech in Indiana until Megyn Kelly came on, just so that she would have to announce him as the "Republican Presumptive Candidate".

...and that he LOVES THE kittens. And he is not saying it, but others are always saying it to him...that kittens are awful things....they are lazy and feed off of people...but he is not saying it...
