Remembrance of pain

Adam looked at the shackle, and said;" Not again ". The Guard stood seven feet away in case he would lash out in a frenzy, but he didnt. He knew what was coming, and he even said to himself as a remembrance ;" Bring something to bite on the next time, cause the pain is unbearable ". He came willingly this time, as a friendly gesture. He asked them to tell before they did anything, and they did.
