Perhaps they feel disenfranchised like all the other inner city youth of this era?
If that's the case I suggest they man up and improve their personal situation instead of taking part in a riot.
Especially since they don't even know what they're rioting for or against.

Here in Texas, I have no worries.

Nothing short of Fast and Furious one hundred times over could give these young punks the advantage they would need to outgun Texas. I would hate to see it come to that, but that won't stop me from defending what is rightfully mine.

Currently, they would be bringing machetes to fight one of the most heavily armed states in the dis-Union.

I would feel bad, but depending on their plan of attack, my 270 could take out three at a time.

I agree. And this is coming from someone who was a disenfranchised youth.

So mexico takes over California & Texas. They turn it into the same # hole that their country currently resembles and then what? Once the freebies disappear, they go home? Then we take it back?

Can anyone imagine what "Mexico" would be like today if the U.S. Government had bought all of Mexico in 1848?

Wonder why they didn't?

But all that oil and gold !!!!

I think the U.S. was focused on the California gold that was miraculously discovered in 1849 (like nobody knew about it beforehand)

Um, I guess Mexicans haven't heard what happened to Japanese-American citizens in WW2 when we went to war with Japan. Someone might want to fill them in on that tidbit that before they think about trying to start a war lol.

Trump has already had 55,000 negative ads alone, she can hurt him anymore, she is the one with the timebomb of crap we are going to see on tv 24/7 and I cant wait ! If walls are SOOO BAD to Mexico then why is there on on their southern border, is that Trumps fault too? are they racist, sexist zenophobic too? Now they do cross the wall but itS not a wall its a fence. Considering the guy has done EVERYTHING else he said he was going to do the wall will be built. That's what honorable noble people do, its like credit rating, you believe the bs coming from the person who has accomplished things,,not the ones who have accomplished nothing, that's what sensible honorable people do.

They don't have to start a war. Southern California is pretty much Mexico already. I grew up in San Bernardino. And even since I was a child the place has changed immensely.

Trump polls worse than any presidential candidate since polling began. He be losing head to head match ups with Clinton in polling since the start of the primaries and it has only been getting worse. When you look at the Electoral map Trump has a near impossible task. And their is no border wall on Mexico's southern border. And Trump will never build a wall because he knows it is a dumb expensive boondoggle that congress will not fund. He will just say, it makes no sense and that is that.

Your right about it being the younger generations.

I've lived in southern California for several years and the older Mexicans are more traditional and quiet but the younger ones have a real entitlement mindset and they really do think what you've said.

Actually, the vast majority of the younger generation across racial and ethnic lines have a false sense of entitlement. This entire mess started with the advent of reality television. Think MTV's "Real World," Paris Hilton, the Jersey Shore kids and the Kardashians.

In short, this sense of entitlement that we've been witnessing as of late is a generational thing, not a race thing.

As for the Latino protestors... Let's face it, if Trump hadn't started making his overtly racist remarks about the Hispanic community (rapists, murderers with a handful of good ones in the mix) this would be a non-issue. The man is reaping what he sowed.

The only ones it will cause a "war" with are the illegal's and the first generation, anchor babies...
Up until the whole refugee crisis in Europe, you couldn't just walk into another country there and demand having everything the locals have. That has obviously changed, how's that working out for them? I really don't understand why people think they have a right defending against there be due process to visit and or, WORK TOWARDS BEING GIVEN THE RIGHT TO BECOME A CITIZEN.

I'll volunteer to stand armed watch over the workers.
I personally have had enough of this slow methodical invasion.

We should start a "Build the Wall" Go Fund ME Campaign.

That would show just how serious Americans are about it. I bet a huge number of people would be happy to pitch in a few bucks. And a few bucks from a lot of people could add up to a whole bunch of cash. Money talks so maybe Congress would start to listen especially if we paid for it ourselves, and showed them just how much we dont really need them to spend our money on useless # anyway.

I wonder how much it costs per foot for the wall? I could see a good marketing strategy coming out of it.

Buy a "foot" of the border fence, and put your best "foot" forward. lol

Considering it is nearly impossible for Trump to win and if he did if he was dumb enough to build a wall people would just go over, under and around it or as more than half of the illegals do just come and stay after their visa expires. Other than making the Trump and the US look like idiots a wall would have no impact on illegals and would cause no war.

Seems Mexico loves that Idea on their southern border bud so you better rethink it. Mexico has a huge wall on their southern border to keep out everyone south of them lol.

According to the head of customs for Mexico’s tax administration, Raul Diaz, the Mexican border state of Chiapas is constructing a wall along the country’s southern border with Guatemala, along the river Suchiate which divides the countries. Diaz says the purpose of the wall is to prevent the passage of contraband, but admits, “It could also prevent the free passage of illegal immigrants.”

Mexico, as a nation, held what is now Texas for all of 15 years before Texas gained it's independence.

The anglo settlers were happily invited in by the Mexican government and given land grants in hope that they would serve as a buffer zone from the Apache and Comanche. Very few Mexican settlements survived in the area prior to the establishment of U.S. and European settlements.

Yes and they picked a war with the US and thanks to Santa Ana lost it. But US paid Mexico for the land. Interestingly, I found this entry in Wikipedia...

American territorial expansion to the Pacific coast had been the goal of US President James K. Polk, the leader of the Democratic Party.[8] The war was highly controversial in the United States, with the Whig Party, anti-imperialists and anti-slavery elements strongly opposed.

Here are a couple of guys just walking over mexico's southern border and they are not even asked for documents. Hey at least they went through a "check point". The guys in the second vid don't even bother with that.

Yeah well, they need to remember they LOST the war in 1848, and most of their former territory north of the present border became U.S. territory by treaty. Then we bought the rest in 1853 (Gadsden Purchase).

When you lose a war, and you lose territory as a result, you lose all claim to that territory. I certainly don't hear the Mexican government claiming California, Texas, or any other territory north of the present border. These "Aztlan" types are nothing but agitators and thugs.
