. . . deliberately making our police force so dysfunctional.
He has told me that they experienced very similar things . . .
In addition they were very brutal and uncaring in their attitude to fans who were literally dying in front of them.

We have our own evidence questionnaires completed by miners arrested at Orgreave, and some witness statements re use of the army and police agent provocateurs.
. . . the strength of spirit and determination in the people of Liverpool . . .
Liverpool does not even rank among them . . .
. . . could have been saved by proper crisis management . . .

Liverpool were known for travelling in larger numbers than other supporters. That, and the habit of creating a crush to effect free entry, were contributing factors.

Jackson chose Duckenfield.
Thanks for mentioning the roadworks. It would be a difficult job now to learn all about those roadworks. For example why didn't the Liverpool fans know they would be delayed? Was there really no way to know? Surely there would have been many drivers who would have been aware and able to spread the word. Or did those roadworks suddenly spring up then disappear as part of the black op?

And he was chosen by Jackson, who is also alleged to have staged a mental breakdown in the control room stopping the loudspeakers from being used to give life saving instructions. Also on video in plain clothes organising the much criticised cordon.
It's as fishy as could be. Duckenfield's just the fall guy.
I don't know where to find the links but I know there are those who were in the pens who want to know why no-one is trying to identify the pushers in the pens. Pushers in the rush on the turnstile are credited with briefly lifting a police horse off it's feet, and bringing it to it's knees.
There were pushers. Outside the turnstiles the intention was to get in without paying, acknowledged by many fans, but nearly always accompanied by excuses like '99% of the time nobody got hurt'.
