I'm guessing this thread will be ignored and forgotten... oh well thanks for reading sorry if you all don't like it.

How to respond to nonsense?

a reply to: namelesss Sorry I don't understand you. Either you are interested in the Sarira pearls or you aren't, but I don't consider them nonsense.
And yeah after two hours I wondered why no one found them interesting... and couldn't help but respond to the crickets chirping... still not sure what your post means. Maybe you can enlighten me?

If someone walked in off the street, and told a story of finding some kind of raw ruby gem in the ashes of all Weimaraners who have been to Lourdes and cremated at midnight, there will be, statistically, some who will immediately believe him.
Usually those with little ability to engage in critical thought, or think for themselves.
Some of us are aware the the basic laws of physics, which operate beyond the personal imagination.
When there is a claim, like some levitating guru, or ruby ashed Weimaraners, some demand more than just anecdotal stories.
We have a fully functional BS meter.
Are educated (basically, anyway).
Can think for ourselves.
And LITERALLY finding real Pearls (or any 'magico-mystical substance' (and not 'teeth', for instance)) is simply beyond 'Reality'.

In other words;
Show me! *__-

Did you mean what did Demosthenes mean by;

"Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes to be true." - Demosthenes

That means that if you wish 'magical pearls' were true, if it 'feeds' a previous 'belief', it would be easy for you to 'believe' the story!

Statistically, I feel that I am on solid ground calling 'nonsense'.
If you can show me the credible evidence, I will happily retract my claim of 'nonsense'!

Until then;

"You can't piss down my neck and tell me it's raining!" *__-

a reply to: namelesss So what do you think the researchers at Stanford were experimenting with? Some teeth? I'm sure they could distinguish between teeth and stones. What are all the monks keeping so carefully guarded... lies or whatever according to you... according to them holy relics from the ashes of monks before them that have mastered Jing essence of the living body.
I choose not to live in a stale, cold, scientific reality where everything is cut and dried with little to no mystery.
Be well.
There is a video of the stones in the OP where you can see them.😊

Search me. Burning people do not produce 'pearls' or gems.
There is no credible evidence.
Break open a sand dollar, and the jaws resemble doves in flight.

To an uneducated superstitious person, it's a 'miracle'.
To me, it's just a Bic lighter.

Perhaps to some, who NEED to feed their beliefs, teeth are 'preciousous gems if drom allegedly 'holy people'.
Whatever.

If you expect me to take this stuff literally, you'll have to show me how it is not possible for this 'miracle' to NOT be a Bic lighter!

I'm sure they could distinguish between teeth and stones.

I do not need to look to the thoughts of others to know what time it is.
Acceding to 'authority' for your 'knowledge' leaves one a drone.
Calcium is bones and teeth, and also the stuff of pearls.
Hence my quote from Demosthenes.
It is easy for a 'believer' to squint one eye and see whatever he needs to feed the belief.

What are all the monks keeping so carefully guarded... lies or whatever according to you... according to them holy relics from the ashes of monks before them that have mastered Jing essence of the living body.

That same ridiculous 'logic' has also been played about the 'Real Holy Ask of the Covenant' (tm) that some special monks (vain lying monks) in Africa CLAIM to possess, and we're just going to have to 'believe' them, because they aren't showing it to anyone!
And then we can talk of Joseph Smiths alleged 'gold plates' (tm) that vanished before verified!
And on and on!
Some clown making some claim that flies in the face of physics is going to have to come up with more than obscure anecdotes before swaying someone not already belief-addled!

I choose not to live in a stale, cold, scientific reality where everything is cut and dried with little to no mystery.
Be well.

The ironic thing, is that Reality is so vastly more 'strange' then such comic-book fiction, if you only had a clue!

There is a video of the stones in the OP where you can see them.😊
It is my experience that there is no internet video that is credible as 'evidence' of anything, other than entertainment, lies and photoshop!

And peace be unto you! *__-

a reply to: namelesss I'll make it my mission in life to prove these the stones are real, just for you to believe! Just kidding.

I do not 'disbelieve', or do I?
Is 'disbelief' the same as simply not 'believing'?
It sounds so... 'active'?
'Belief' is an experience that I seem to no be able to experience.
Perhaps it is a handicap?
The best that I can ever do is a 'tentative' acceptance.
Everything exists, I'm just saying that it's probably not a 'literal' thing, but, perhaps 'metaphor'.

You know, those with 'Faith' (not 'beliefs') NEVER have any need for 'relics' (Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu...), or logic, or scientific validation, or 'validation' of any sort!
'Faith' is unconditional! *__-

two more fascinating videos on conservation of healthy chi energy manifested into pearls of wisdom from masters of compassion or other types of chi force energy...
as i mentioned or did not mention the energy of a destructive angry nature is also collectable such as in martial arts and the masses formed in body from this angry chi is not pretty...
similar to cancer formations representing a build up of resentment and turned into malfuctioning cell masses or tumors...as per the metaphysical teacher Louise l. Hay...a teacher i learned about from a childhood friend's Mother that healed a cancer through chinese medicine and yet seemed a bit spaced out as did many parents in the 80's...
