TRUMP...Most Votes In GOP History

My son is a Bernie supporter and says he will vote for Hilary when she's nominated and will never speak to me again if I vote for Trump. I said I won't speak to him as long as Hillary is president. So It's a wash.

Well, I know politics can draw-out emotions at times, but that's just messed up.

I would never say something like that to my parents or my kids over politics.

This election this year is a volatile topic among our family. My college age son is a die-hard Bernie supporter, but will vote for Hillary when she's nominated. I'm not a die-hard, but I don't like Cruz, so that leaves me with Trump, as I would never vote for Hillary. Our no-talking feud will only last a few weeks though until we get together for Thanksgiving.

Apparently he also holds the record of most votes against him.
15 million votes against him as a matter of fact.

Are you really that stupid???
If you are going to count votes for other people as votes against Trump, then you have to do the same for the other candidates.
Therefore Cruz and Kasich have had more votes against them than Trump has - OBVIOUSLY. So guess what... he doesn't hold the record.

I'm so glad my parents raised me to not give a crap about politics. That's kind of a ridiculous situation Unbreakable

You should remind each other that presidents only last 4-8 years & that our planet is gonna be screwed for a lot longer than that no matter who gets put in the position. (& I do mean Put in, not voted in).

If you want to count votes, look at the current spreads

Trump is currently 3,202,479 above his nearest competitor, Cruz
- and that is after running against many other competitors who are not even counted in that spread

Hillary is only 3,167,708 above her nearest competitor, Sanders
- and that is considering she only had one competitor

I maintain that my experience of anti-Trumpers is that they are low information and stupid.

Most primary GOP votes and yet he'll still lose the general in a landslide because the majority of the country isn't comprised of uneducated racist morons.

Trump is not racist. That was a label given to him by media in the beginning that had no substantiation.
The media has also not repeated it for a long time, you may have noticed.

You may want to educate yourself in the many threads here about that subject, as I'm not inclined to repeat what has been discussed in detail already.

Also, the primary election results have proven that Trump also dominates highly educated, as well as doing very well with women and minorities.

So please, inform and educate yourself.
