Pay attention. Trump is focussing on one goal at a time. Why do you think he's been making all those controversial statements during the primaries? It's called "airtime", which is extremely important when you are 1 out of 17 contenders. And it obviously worked.

Now that he is pretty much certain of the nomination, you will see his strategy begin to change, as was already apparent in his speech on foreign policy.

Also, notice how in your graph, the lines are starting to converge again. This will continue, and Trump will be on top soon enough.

The race between Trump and Clinton has yet to begin.

Pay attention... November 9 will get all the answers to people in denial

I think Trump holds a silent majority in the country that will only become more apparent as we move closer to November. People are going to vote how they really feel in the anonymity of the polling booth and I think there are going to be a lot of surprised Establishment a-holes who will need therapy.

Bingo.

This will also, (after the primary), become evident in the polls as we get closer.

Once he has the nomination, that's when we'll see more of what Trump would actually be as President.

Will it be enough to beat the establishment pick of Hillary? Time will tell. November is still a ways off, and a lot can happen between now and then.

Here's my honest advice to the GOP. You think you've lost any shot at the Oval Office, and that Trump on the ticket is a bane to the other GOP candidates in congressional races. You are wrong. Back Trump. Amp up the attack on Hillary's illegal acts and foreign policy debacles, and keep it in the courts and on the news.

If you try and deny the voters at the convention, you will be solely responsible for the destruction of the GOP party, as we'll simply vote Trump anyways, but then vote against the GOP in EVERY OTHER SINGLE RACE.....
