Ted Cruz to name Carly Fiorina as VP

Really?

(CNN)Ted Cruz will name Carly Fiorina as his vice presidential running mate on Wednesday, according to two sources -- a last-ditch move to regain momentum after being mathematically eliminated from winning the GOP presidential nomination outright.

The Texas senator will make the announcement at an afternoon rally in Indiana, which votes Tuesday in the next GOP contest. Cruz must have a strong showing in the Hoosier State to help block rival Donald Trump from securing the 1,237 delegates necessary to win the nomination, and keep alive his hopes of a contested Republican National Convention.

Well isn't that interesting.

What do you think folks, any supporters of Ted over here think this is a good idea?

I'm really surprised, I would not have thought he would have taken somebody who showed such a lack luster performance during the primaries. She only had one really good performance and even then it wasn't that great.

I think it's too soon, and Ted has shot himself if he does this.

He needed something to get himself in the news going into Indiana. With Trump's sweep yesterday, he had to do something to get the attention off of coming up short. Statistically, he has no way to get the 1,237, so I find it interesting he came out with a VP pick prior to the convention.

Cruz is so delusional to think he could win a general election, regardless of VP.
His constant disregard for the will of the people, by continuing to act like he has a chance, is just going to make people angrier.

You think this election is bad? Wait until all the coddled/entitled children of the 90s/2000s are old enough to be in the running. They've all been taught they are "special" and are growing up with this PC Movement being shoved down their throats. We'll be seeing a lot more of this in the next 30-40 years (idk if I'll still be around, but a boy can dream!)

"Follow Hillary's lead.." eep! Please, nobody should be following her lead. Hearing her speak on her victories recently (and even well before this) just reminds me of a decrepit old witch who is so enthusiastic about all the children she can fit into her oven
