Unless Trump goes independent *if* the GOP has a brokered convention and gives the nomination to someone else. Which I personally feel is what we have been/are being groomed for.

If Bernie was the nominee and the conservative vote was divided between Trump and someone else, liberal voters would galvanize behind Bernie and probably win with a mandate.

Sure, Trump has some independent support. But he does not have the full support of conservatives and he could not afford to share any of it with a hypothetical GOP nominee.

If someone wanted to take us one step further towards socialism, Bernie would be their candidate and they would have to 'trick' the U.S. into electing him.

By the way, I read today that Bernie says he will stay in the race to the end of the primary process and "possibly beyond." I think Bernie knows that, at some point, Hillary's email investigation will *gasp* end her campaign. No, she won't ever see prison, but I have a feeling Bernie's is going to win the nomination *by default* -- all according to plan.

One of the things that has always made me laugh till my gut ached about presidential elections in the states, is the fact that so many Americans seem to complain about how stagnant their politics is, with nothing really changing for the better, despite an awful lot of noise being made by all sides, on all sorts of topics. And let me tell you, there has rarely been made a fairer call than that.

But every time someone remotely interested in drastically changing things, anyone who has a plan that even hints at a change of direction (which is unarguably needed, since war for profit cannot be sustainable, and nor are the huge numbers of laws which favour corporations over the actual citizen), even those who approve of the candidate will balk at actually offering him, or her, the opportunity to make a change.

The reality is that there are an awful lot of people out there, who seem to want to have change, without THEIR life changing. I have news for you. The sort of change you need, will change every life, not one, or one million, but each and every life in the States. Either have it, or do not. That is the choice.

Further to that, I am always shocked at how utterly brazenly people simply accept the hegemony. It is pretty simple. One should vote for the BEST possible candidate, not the one most likely to win, but the one who shares your beliefs and attitudes toward the big issues, the one with whom you disagree the very least.

Tactical voting is one of the things that helps the powermongers that aggravate everyone, maintain their powerbase. If they divide people enough, they know that they can manipulate the race, get their person or persons in, because all they have to do is place someone in a position to absorb votes meant to simply keep another candidate out of office. Frankly, this is stupid as the day is long, and is a practice which ought to be abandoned.

No, it wasn't until 2 years after they took over, Dec. 2 1961 that Fidel declared: “I am a Marxist-Leninist and shall be one until the end of my life.” When he was taking over Cuba he claimed he was a socialist. Now, when he claimed he was a socialist, of course he was a Marxist, just like Bernie. If Bernie could go full commie, he would.

After last night, it really doesn't matter how Sanders polls.
Pretty much impossible for him to get to the magic number, and not difficult for Clinton to do so.
He's basically finished.

While Cruz isn't yet shut out, it's certainly leaning that way.

I will agree though, that I think any polls this year, are completely off base. There's one simple reason.

Polls are generally taken in public places. While taking a poll, you're typically WITH someone. A lot of Trump supporters feel demonized by others, so may not answer (while with another) honestly. Many of his supporters are closeted. In addition, most of his supporters aren't SJWs (Social Justice Warriors), so would probably blow off pollsters in the first place. I think the largest group of Trump supporters, have yet to show themselves, but will on election day.

If Bernie could go full commie, he would.

I'm still puzzled how a guy who:

Was basically a do-nothing bum for 40 years
Finally got a job, in politics, during a default election
Did basically nothing in Congress (a B player at best)
Already was in charge of a socialized division (i.e. the VA) and mucked it up
States in no uncertain terms, that he's going to raise taxes

Is seen as some kind of savior by the millennials..... It is truly astonishing.....

Don't forget, it isn't difficult to rig a close election. It is far more difficult to rig an election where there is a vast difference of votes. To choose their candidate, the establishment needs it to be close.
