John Kasich vs. Neil Cavuto: "There Are No Rules," "I've Got Friends Who Are Going To Be On The Convention Rules Committee"

John Kasich tells Fox News Channel's Neil Cavuto that Ted Cruz or Donald Trump can not beat Hillary Clinton, and that he would never accept an invitation to be Vice President from either of them. He says he expects to go to the RNC convention and be nominated there.

"And guess what, I've got friends who are going to be on the Rules Committee," the Ohio governor said. "We don't know who is going on the rules committee yet. And thirdly, people can be nominated from the floor."

John Kasich threw a tempter tantrum on Fox News Channel's Neil Cavuto when grilled about his hopeless chance of legitimately acquiring the GOP nomination at the convention this July. What followed was a clear glimpse into the mind of an establishment crony that plans to subvert the will of the voters and gain the nomination through political gerrymandering.

Kasich, who is currently 1/32 states, still has less delegates then Marco Rubio when he dropped out of the race over a month ago and according to the current RNC rules does not have the support to garner a vote at the convention.

So why is Kasich still in the race?

Kasich: If I drop out, Trump gets the nomination

If Kasich drops out, 58 of his delegates would be free-agents on the first ballot in Cleveland.

Karen Kasich admits that the only reason John Kasich is still in the race is to keep Trump from the Nomination

I can't stand that moron everything he says is complete bull.

Both Cruz and Trump have a far better chance than he does he's just talking out of his booty hole.

Kasich would never get my vote. I'd sit home on Election Day (and so would a crap ton of other voters) and eat Lucky Charms and watch Hillary take it all before that happened.

He has absolutely ZERO integrity at this point. Wanting to go in and ignore the will of the people he wants to preside over just proves it.

Kasich is basically saying that the voters will be ignored.
He did underscore some key points though.

1) The rules have not been set yet. This means the rules committee could just create a rule that excludes Trump... e.g. a Nominee must have run for office in the past, or a nominee must get 75% of the delegates to be chosen on the first ballot. Thay can make up whatever rules they need to stop whoever they want.
2) The rules committee, not chosen yet, will make those decisions - it's pretty clear that the committee will be stacked with GOP insiders.

If the RNC isn't going to give Trump the nomination then they are definitely not giving Cruz the nomination. Both Trump and Cruz lose to either Democratic candidate while Kasich is the only one who does somewhat well. Besides Clinton, Trump and Cruz are hated by majority of the American public and the RNC.

So if the RNC wants a shot at winning Kasich is their man. Either way, corrupted politics is corrupted politics.

I would vote for either Cruz or Trump, but I would NEVER vote for Kasich. I would vote, but it would either be third party or a write in. I'd likely put my own name there. I couldn't do any worse than he would.

That's a bold statement for a candidate that is 1/32, has millions of votes stacked against him and has been riding last place for months. But I guess those unbiased polls from Politico know better then the actual results.

I love when people judge politics based on people they know. My information comes from polls, many polls, taken but then again if I recall you don't like polls so there goes your credibility.

Whatever the case, if Trump is the nominee he loses to the DNC. But agian, polls bad.

I know it's hard to understand for you Trump supporters that they majority of America, nay the world, doesn't like your man so I guess ignorance is bliss and only time will prove once and for all he'll never be president.

I'm sorry but your wishful thinking isn't going to undue election results and bend reality to suit your own opinions.

Millions of Repubican voters does not equal the American public.

Face it, when you openly supported Trump you just supported a loser. He will never be president.

What's wishful thinking? The fact that Trump is the second most despised candidate running, second only to Clinton, or that Trump could never be president?

The wishful thinking is all yours.

At least the people have voted them into the current positions they are in. Kasich had how many votes? The people have spoken. That's what it is about. It's not all relative. Folks vote for a reason and it's not so a few folks can just throw that away and pick someone else.

If that's the case then they need to do away with the voting and just put their choice up there. Until then they need to suck it up and take into account the will of the folks and Kasich very obviously is not it.

Shocking that I'm going on your disinformation list because I disagree with you politically. Typical really and not at all surprising.

And who are the current front runners? It must be so frustrating when the majority of people don't agree with your iteration of reality.

Great.

So our choice will be between Hilary the Establishment Democrat and Kasich the Establishment Democrat (with an 'R' next to his name. We are indeed screwed in America.
