Actually, I have tons of paint at my disposal. Oil, water, crayons, pencils.... I paint shoes for kids whom have terminal illnesses. I try using uplifting colors. Frozen and Comics are big right now.
Some kids survive. In which case the shoes are sent back, I paint Golden Angel wings on them with Survivor written on them.

Just Golden wings w/o survivors written on them. 👼

Little Timmy was playing with Crayons,
He ended up drawing all over his hands
He even went out and drew all over my land
Then bad little Timmy drew on the marching band.
I took his crayon away and smacked his hand!

Sometimes going after each other's necks on other threads. We need to Chill and or decompress.

Crayola is a conspiracy. They have a team of child psychologist that work with the marketing department. They intentionally advertise to children and not parents. So children will beg for Crayola products over other products.

Then there is the whole flesh tone skin color for other nationalities.

For example! I have a pack of Crayola crayons here.
THE BLACK VERY SPECIFICALLY SAYS "BLACK and in small print Negro".
Granted this is aimed at hispanic languages.

Other flesh tones changed to apricot due to backlash of the public.

My favorite is somewhere between dk. green, blue, and purple. It really depends on my mood and the day and the shade of each you show me.

It was a joke.. Chill out dude.. I can be a little sarcastic sometimes, I find it very therapeutic.. My apologies if I offended you..

And now to your post.. So what your saying is children's products are aimed at children in advertising.. Wow.. That is astonishing!
I wonder if they do that with with different age groups, and my conspiracy mind is racing here, bear with me.. they might even do that with different sexes too..
This is not acceptable.. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Sorry sorry sorry I was not going after you.not my intention. 😯
You make a good point .

Yes this goes to everything from Crayons to barbie dolls. Without marketing, sales would drop. Cars, toys to household products.
I should have been broader on my post.

But I wasn't going after ypu. 🍻😊

This thread is good to find out the psychology of colors. 👍

All jokes aside.. Certain things are definitely aimed at children, for example McDonald's I've heard is the biggest toy manufacturer in the world.. They always jump on the back of the latest children's movies too..
So you can clearly see who they primarily aim their products at..
Which serves a double purpose, get the kids through the door and the adults will accompany them..

Burnt Umber.
Because it sounds cool.

My least favorite as a child was Flesh. It was freaking pink and matched pretty much no one's skin that I knew.

They don't make one for my favorite color. My favorite color is clear. Why? Just because. Am I serious? Yes I am. My second favorite is turquoise because I like the stones. They're neat.
