California Department of Justice agents have raided the home of David Daleiden, the anti-abortion activist who targeted women’s healthcare group Planned Parenthood with a series of undercover videos, his attorney said on Wednesday.
Eleven agents seized four computers and hundreds of hours of video footage from Daleiden’s apartment in Huntington Beach on Tuesday, said Charles LiMandri, a civil attorney for Daleiden in three cases in California.
California Attorney General Kamala Harris is facing conflict-of-interest accusations after launching a raid on pro-life activist David Daleiden’s apartment even as she campaigns for the U.S. Senate on a pro-Planned Parenthood platform.
Ms. Harris, a longtime Planned Parenthood supporter seeking the Democratic Senate nomination, includes on her campaign website a petition asking voters to “take a stand and join Kamala in defending Planned Parenthood.”
“It is no secret that Harris is in bed with Planned Parenthood,” Mr. O’Keefe said. “Her 2014 AG campaign received donations from multiple Planned Parenthood PACs and her 2016 U.S. Senate race has already received personal donations from senior Planned Parenthood players.”
Having reviewed the records or transcripts in full and in context, I find that no NAF attendee admitted to engaging in, agreed to engage in, or expressed interest in engaging in potentially illegal sale of fetal tissue for profit. The recordings tend to show an express rejection of Daleiden’s and his associates’ proposals or, at most, discussions of interest in being paid to recoup the costs incurred by clinics to facilitate collection of fetal tissue for scientific research, which NAF argues is legal.

alifornia Law Penal Code § 632, enacted under the California Invasion of Privacy Act, makes it illegal for an individual to monitor or record a "confidential communication" whether the communication is carried on among the parties in the presence of one another or by means of a telegraph, telephone, or other device. California is known as a "two-party" state, which means that recordings are not allowed unless all parties to the conversation consent to the recording.
Under Penal Code § 632(c), "confidential communication" includes any communication carried on in circumstances as may reasonably indicate that any party to the communication desires it to be confined to the parties, but excludes a communication made in a public gathering or in any legislative, judicial, executive or administrative proceeding open to the public, or in any other circumstance in which the parties to the communication may reasonably expect that the communication may be overheard or recorded.
A violation of Penal Code § 632 can lead to a fine of up to $2,500 and/or imprisonment for up to a year (misdemeanor). In addition, the violator may be subject to civil liability in the amount of $5,000 or three times the amount of any actual damages sustained as a result.

The reaction from Mr. Daleiden’s corner was swift, with one of his attorneys describing the raid as “an oppressive abuse of government power.” “To storm into a private citizen’s home with a search warrant is outrageously out of proportion for the type of crime alleged. It’s a discredit to law enforcement, an oppressive abuse of government power,” Matt Heffron, a former federal prosecutor in Phoenix and now a legal adviser to Mr. Daleiden, said in a Wednesday statement.

how many stories have been posted on these forums about the cops making a mistake, storming the wrong house, burning babies with flash granades, and on and on...
how much you want to bet that not one flash granade was used thrown into his house??
gee, the lawyer has nothing to complain about! if he was a good lawyer, he would have advised his client to get rid of any incriminating evidence a long time ago, heck the law enforcement gave them plenty of time.

Exposing something the left defends. This is all political and is only happening because this is an election year.
