why does my light flicker while reading the bible?

Last night i read the bible and while reading a chapter it completely went off. Thinking of changing it and fixing the problem, i just took out my phone and finished the chapter. The freakiest part was, it came back on and stayed on. i thought of changing it but it hasn't turned off at all. i took a break from reading and left it on and went outside to smoke a cigarette and came back in, hoping it was dead so i could change it. it was still on.

i am not the only one who witnessed this as i thought it was logically just a fault light bulb. Thing is, this light bulb kept flickering for the past week.

Do you have a dimmer switch on the outlet circuit its plugged into" Does it warm up and begin to flicker? Change the bulb out, keep the old one for now, read some more tonight and over the next week. Get back to us.

Got to eliminate the probable first to get left with the impossible.

Loose wiring is a common cause of flickering lights.

Read the bible under the light some more, if it happens a second or third time, stop reading the bible under that light, and the problem will be fixed.

I think I see what you did there.

Maybe it has something to do with your chosen ATS moniker?

Could be several possibilities. Maybe you have a lose ground or conductor. Too many resistors connected to the same branch circuit. Certain types of luminaries are known for flickering. Possibly even an issue with your service grounding conductors...does your resistance exceed 25ohms?

Read it to candlelight and the flickering will be normal.

Probably, but I haven't experienced this with anything else. No lose or faulty wiring. I even read the bible before and no flickering ever occured.

I would look at him being the cause. People who choose names like that tend to bring all types of negative energy upon themselves.

Assuming, of course, there isn't a simple electrical explanation.

It could have to do with the power company you are connected to or the wiring outside your house.

There is in all probability about 1000 different reasons that you need to rule out before you consider otherwise.

Probably. I was always fixated to Lucifer when I was younger. I read a piece of the church books back then and remember seeing the name. It stuck to me ever since.

Maybe. Things have been happening to the point i think i shifted my reality. Right now i feel a weird sensation of inner orbit. Almost as if i entered though a mirror. like this guy...
