There are certainly a bunch of people worth of that crown on ATS. And some of the names already mentioned have value.

But the best candidate is that friendly neighborhood collective we call the MSM. Their message is cohesive enough to come from a single person. And even in their supposed left and right flavors, they still generally favor the same issues and more often than not hold the same positions.

On the great controversies of our age they are almost completely silent.

What will forever bother me about Snowden is that within a year of his leak laws were passed to include the programs in his leak. All without a blink from our concerned citizens who uphold his hero and iconic status. The same to which the media does also. A wolf going baa?..
