Again... Look at my other posts in this thread. I've posted much more links than that.

In fact let me repeat them again.

Mossack Fonseca: The Nazi, CIA And Nevada Connections... And Why It's Now Rothschild's Turn

And, to top it off, there is one specific firm which is spearheading the conversion of the U.S. into Panama: Rothschild.

Rothschild, the centuries-old European financial institution, has opened a trust company in Reno, Nev., a few blocks from the Harrah’s and Eldorado casinos. It is now moving the fortunes of wealthy foreign clients out of offshore havens such as Bermuda, subject to the new international disclosure requirements, and into Rothschild-run trusts in Nevada, which are exempt.

* * *

For financial advisers, the current state of play is simply a good business opportunity. In a draft of his San Francisco presentation, Rothschild’s Penney wrote that the U.S. “is effectively the biggest tax haven in the world.” The U.S., he added in language later excised from his prepared remarks, lacks “the resources to enforce foreign tax laws and has little appetite to do so.”

"The Cat Is Out Of The Bag" - In Interview Mossack Fonseca Founders Admit It's Over... To Rothschild's Delight

That money is rushing for one simple reason: dirty foreign - and local - money is welcome in the U.S., no questions asked, to be shielded by the most impenetrable tax secrecy available anywhere on the planet.

One may even say that nowadays, US-based tax havens are the new Switzerland, or Bahamas or, for that matter, Panama. Indeed, for most Americans, offshore tax haven are now meaningless with the passage of the FATCA law, which makes the parking of dirty US money abroad practically impossible. So where does that money go instead - it stays in the US:

Yes, Mossack Fonseca may now be history, and its countless uberwealthy clients exposed, but none other than Rothschild is now delighted to be able to fill its rather large shoes. In fact, someone with a conspiratorial bent may decide that today's dramatic takedown of the Panama "offshoring" industry was nothing more than a hit designed to crush the competition of domestic "tax haven" providers... suxh as Rothschild.

Corporate Media Gatekeepers Protect Western 1% From Panama Leak

The Suddeutsche Zeitung, which received the leak, gives a detailed explanation of the methodology the corporate media used to search the files. The main search they have done is for names associated with breaking UN sanctions regimes. The Guardian reports this too and helpfully lists those countries as Zimbabwe, North Korea, Russia and Syria. The filtering of this Mossack Fonseca information by the corporate media follows a direct western governmental agenda. There is no mention at all of use of Mossack Fonseca by massive western corporations or western billionaires – the main customers. And the Guardian is quick to reassure that “much of the leaked material will remain private.”

What do you expect? The leak is being managed by the grandly but laughably named “International Consortium of Investigative Journalists”, which is funded and organised entirely by the USA’s Center for Public Integrity. Their funders include

Ford Foundation
Carnegie Endowment
Rockefeller Family Fund
W K Kellogg Foundation
Open Society Foundation (Soros)

The World’s Favorite New Tax Haven Is the United States

Last September, at a law firm overlooking San Francisco Bay, Andrew Penney, a managing director at Rothschild & Co., gave a talk on how the world’s wealthy elite can avoid paying taxes.

His message was clear: You can help your clients move their fortunes to the United States, free of taxes and hidden from their governments.

Some are calling it the new Switzerland.

After years of lambasting other countries for helping rich Americans hide their money offshore, the U.S. is emerging as a leading tax and secrecy haven for rich foreigners. By resisting new global disclosure standards, the U.S. is creating a hot new market, becoming the go-to place to stash foreign wealth. Everyone from London lawyers to Swiss trust companies is getting in on the act, helping the world’s rich move accounts from places like the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands to Nevada, Wyoming, and South Dakota.

“How ironic—no, how perverse—that the USA, which has been so sanctimonious in its condemnation of Swiss banks, has become the banking secrecy jurisdiction du jour,” wrote Peter A. Cotorceanu, a lawyer at Anaford AG, a Zurich law firm, in a recent legal journal. “That ‘giant sucking sound’ you hear? It is the sound of money rushing to the USA.”

And here's another one:

The Truth About the “Panama Papers”

Three years ago, thieves stole a bunch of information from “offshore” service providers in the Cook Islands and British Virgin Islands. This was supposed to be a ground-breaking exposé with huge ramifications, but it turned out to be a tempest in a teapot.

As I pointed out at the time, all that we really learned is that people who use offshore services are generally honest and law-abiding. And they definitely had far more integrity than the politicians who routinely attack the offshore world.

Many nations in Western Europe can no longer afford their big welfare states. Countries such as Greece, Spain, and Italy already have needed bailouts, while it’s just a matter of time before several other European nations face a fiscal day of reckoning. …rather than fix their own fiscal problems, many of these nations are working through international bureaucracies such as the G-20 and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to rewrite the rules and traditions of global commerce in an attempt to extract more tax revenue. This is why there’s been a major attack against so-called tax havens as part of a coordinated campaign to undermine fiscal sovereignty and restrict the human right of financial privacy.

In other words, welfare states are going bankrupt and they hope to somehow prop up their unaffordable entitlements with a money grab.

I have read every post and it still seems off to me. This leak goes back decades..........yet i'm not seeing much of anything about the U.S.I know more is coming........I'm waiting!

Don't worry, the American names are coming. Not sure if it's been posted yet, but here's an article from the USAToday's site that says this:

The law firm at the hub of a global financial scandal has links to more than 1,000 U.S. companies, formed mostly in Nevada and Wyoming since 2001, but appears to have largely escaped the scrutiny of U.S. financial regulators — at least in public.

And this:

The majority of U.S.-based companies linked to Mossack Fonseca were formed in Nevada by M.F. Corporate Services (Nevada) Limited, a one-employee company based out of a low-slung tile-roofed office building 20 miles from the Las Vegas strip. MF Nevada has served as the registered agent for 1,026 business entities since 2001, according to USA TODAY's review of Nevada business documents.

Publicly available information about many of the Nevada corporations is limited to the fact that MF Nevada is the registered agent and a listing of the officers. Many of the officers are businesses themselves — meaning no individuals are listed in corporate records — and typically have addresses in Anguilla, the Seychelles, Panama or another foreign country.

(Warning: The Article has an autoplay video at the top that shows some of the international big names caught up in the scandal so far. The autoplay caught me off guard).

Oh, USAToday has another article that claims at least 200 American names are in the Panama Papers so far.

The names of hundreds of Americans have surfaced in the Panama Papers, including a handful of U.S. businessmen accused or convicted by U.S. authorities for ties to financial crimes or Ponzi schemes.

The identities of the Americans emerged from the treasure trove of documents obtained by the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, the U.S.-based International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and hundreds of other media organizations.

The consortium has so far identified more than 200 people with U.S. addresses who own companies in the leaked data from the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca. Some appear to be retirees purchasing real estate in places like Costa Rica and Panama, according to the consortium. But there are at least a few Americans in the leaked files who have faced charges for serious financial crimes in the U.S.

Well well well. So... this Big Nanny Journalist conspiracy is finally trickling down some drops to swallow, preferably hook, line and sinker. Yeah... they sifted through all this data just to keep us well informed. We never ought to see it ourselves and are in desperate need for another big Nanny. Sure. Not.
More scripted outrage please, nobody saw this big elephant hiding in the tax-free part of the room (yet). Cpt. Obvious striked again!
Now guess what? Our Nanny State gubbermints are pretty broke, just watch this story unfold and develop. Big Media will walk the extra mile, advocating more and bigger gubbermints for the sake of avoiding tax-avoidance. Wanna bet?

That escalated rather quickly, well played! Global leaders on some anti-corruption summit, coming to your town soon. And I thought those folks were representatives, not leaders, but what the eff do I know anyway. They'll probably mis-lead us again, as they did with declaring this offshore money scam legal in the first place.

However, being in my head this piece from Greenwald hit's the nail quite bluntly:

Some of these documents undoubtedly reveal criminality: either monies that were illegally obtained (and are being hidden for that reason) or assets being concealed in order to criminally evade tax debts. But the crux of this activity — placing assets offshore in order to avoid incurring tax liability — has been legalized. That’s because Western democracies, along with overt tyrannies, are typically controlled by societies’ wealthiest, and laws are enacted to serve their interests.

Clinton campaign chief linked to Russian bank listed in Panama Papers

Well there ya have it. It seems the degrees of separation are slowly dwindling. I almost started a new thread for this but figured it might as well be part of what may one day be considered the authoritative PP thread.

I really hope the incriminating docs keep coming. I would be thrilled to see the public reaction to seeing how deep the rabbit hole really is. Though most of us here at ATS have known all along...

Only thing is, I can see devastating war on the horizon as a direct result of this if it goes much further. World leaders caught red-handed, corruptively colluding on a global scale = very likely pretext for war.

Pretext for war, fine.

But if enough people find out what a real dog and pony show war actually is, they're going to have a hard time getting people to fight their wars for them even if they re-implement the draft.

Other more ominous events will likely occur to distract the ignorant masses from this thing.

I hope you're right, but I wouldn't underestimate the war propaganda machine; it has never failed during its rollout. Only after the pointless wars do we look retrospectively, aghast and shocked at our own gullibility, to see it was all a distraction or power play. It's the trump card usually pulled when the curtain is about to be lifted. Literally all it takes is a false flag or an 'unforeseen' attack, with enough casualties, and people will be seeing too much red to read between the lines. To hope that the public totally rejects the ensuing 24-hr news feed is wishful thinking imo.

Okay, I'm just going to speak my mind here, and a reply from any mod or admin will be greatly appreciated.

I recall a thread regarding a Drumpf protest(or something Drumpf related) staying at the top of ATS homepage for something like 2 weeks, and that's at the very least;

The lid was ripped off of this landmark, earth-shaking scandal involving worldwide corruption, the likes of which global conspiracy theorists have wet dreams about, four days ago, that's F-O-U-R days ago. It fell from the top while it was still exploding, and is now completely gone.

So I ask, respectfully, and without a doubt reasonably so...what gives? Who decided this wasn't front page worthy after four days, and why?

I can see why some may be upset about the pieces written about Putin without even mentioning Cameron's father and the others

As Cameron's father is dead,it seems pointless of anyone even trying to make a case against him.

It might be difficult, but it needs to be followed up on...Did Cameron inherit the money when his father passed? Where did that money originate and why was it hidden off-shore.

That was kind of my point as well... Also we haven't seen all of the docs yet. They may be saving the most explosive for the US.

I may have to eat my own words here. It looks like we'll only be seeing some fairly targeted disclosures. Odd how Cameron's family was tossed into the mix, probably for 'fairness'. The rest seem to largely be Western targets. It's almost as this reporting included a CIA propaganda hit list; Putin an his inner circle, Iceland's PM, the Assad family, Pakistanis and many more. The recently disclosed Americans are peanuts!

I'm going to have to agree with Mr. Tarpley's conclusions at this point; another 'limited hangout' operation. It felt strange from the beginning and intuition told me that it was off. That being said; I so badly wanted this "historical" leak to actually out Western corruption as well. I even told myself that MF was the fourth largest creator of offshore shell companies in the world so maybe the Western, especially American, Oligarchs were just using one or some of the others. Maybe their obfuscation methods were better and more modern?

Curiously, as Tarpley's notes, Anthony Podesta pops up in the papers. OK Tony is brother to John Podesta, campaign manager for Hillary, former cheif of staff to Billy, counselor to Obama and co-founder of a DC lobbying firm that is currently representing a big Russian bank. John's brother Anthony is the individual representing and lobbying for this bank. I wonder if this detail was even supposed to be leaked. The rabbit hole is very deep indeed. That said, I think a few Americans were dead weight and thrown to the wolves as was Cameron's dead father. This does indeed seem a bit targeted. Perhaps yet another limited hangout?

Here's the thing: when the 62 richest individuals own half the world's wealth, the truth about money will come out.

Some will cry, obviously, but so what? If it was literally half the world's food, stashed away in some dark corner, the people of the world would demand to know where it was, and who has it, and those 62 people would swing from lamp posts by morning.

This is the only weapon we have to make them squirm. They would do well to remember that "loyalty bought once can be sold again at twice the price," and -- in the end -- they are flesh and blood creatures, just like the rest of us.

I do have to agree. I was a bit surprised when half of the people who posted on this forum. Without even researching, without even reading into it. And even saying "I've read the papers" (Bull#. its 2.5 terabytes of data. Which would take years to read through.

Come out and say "No American's are linked".

On the plus side I'm really happy to see people on this forum are actually reading into things, asking questions. Looking deeper into stories before making judgements.

This is a big deal. People may get a slap on the wrist, heck there will be prosecutions because of this. But now it is known all around the world.

People are named.

You can all see thousands of people are protesting due to people who are on the papers. Imagine what would happen when companies are publicly named and shamed? All it would take is for people to stop supporting the company. Stop buying their goods. - Potential companies could go bankrupt.

And individuals will forever be marked. People for the rest of their lives with judge them for what they are really are. People around the streets will look at them in disgust. Spit on them. Swear at them. For the rest of their lives.

That's what the people on that list are up against. The public turning against them. They may not go to Jail, they may not get fined.

But they will live the rest of their lives in the public forever facing public scrutiny. In my opinion that's worse than prison.

And that's what you get for screwing the population.

Like I always say Karma always comes back to bite you in the butt. And you can't hide from it. There's no loop holes. Universal Law's can't be broken only human laws can be broken.

This is a warning for all of the people on earthing screwing the population on earth. No matter what you try to hide. No matter what you try to do. IT ALWAYS COMES OUT.

The universe always find's a way of punishing those who Screw with the population of earth. If you think you are immune? Think again. Look all around you. Look at what's happening right now all the leaks? Do some research. Look at what happens to those who screw around with others. IF they don't end up in Jail they end of up somewhere else. Somewhere a lot worse. You may be able to hide behind human laws.

But you can't hide behind the Law's that govern this universe. We all know it deep down inside of us. You can't deny it.

And the panama paper proves it. It only takes 1 human being to do it. and guess what there's 6 billion of us.

So watch out. KARMA ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO COME BACK TO BITE YOU. The bigger the screw over the bigger the fall.

It's humanity's turn to fight back and put earth back on the path of Peace and prosperity.

Because humans at least deserve that.

I found your post very interesting.
it is a bit strange how the leak surfaced and why, info like the leaked document
does not just happen, there usually is a reason for such leaks and I don't believe for
one moment that this just innocently fell out of the sky and into the laps of journalists,
most of whom are usually nothing more than paid shills for some shady cabal.

Thanks again for your post, and do you have any to add to the "Libor Fixing" scam.
