I'm used to mainframes and cobol etc so the basic ideas aint a problem...its the learning the way that you do things like logging in and add users and fart around with disk allocations thats going to take a while and probably a crate or two of beer to get sorted.

I've finally got my license from usisys so will need to sit down with a strong cup of coffee and a notepad and get stuck in....oh the joys of a working storage section

For real though keep me up to date on progress, I think you might be the only other person I know of who has bothered with a personal mainframe LOL (I have an S/390 G6 model)
