As another poster pointed out in the other thread though, I'm not sure how Cruz is going to be named here, this stuff happened in 2007 and earlier but Cruz didn't go to DC until 2008, prior to that he was in Texas. That would just leave Clinton, Sanders, and maybe Trump. Otherwise it would be related entirely to congressional elections.

Ted Cruz worked for George W Bush, on the campaign trail and in DC after Bush was elected. Cruz was definitely in DC in the early 2000's. He actually clerked for Chief Judge Renquist in 1996. Cruz can easily be placed in DC during the time period Palfrey was running her escort business.

However, when a certain candidate carries around a bible, portrays himself as moral and Christian, and posts prayer-like tributes to God on his Facebook - all in an effort to get the votes of evangelicals and others to whom it does matter --- then some people will care.

Religious leaders get caught all the time. They just say they are human and ask for Gods forgivness and then everything is fine. Happens all the time. Utah hates Trump because of his immigration stance and willingness to persecute and entire religion. Cruz having an affair would no way effect the Trump hate.

Trump never said he was going to persecute an entire religion. He said he wanted to stop bringing Muslim immigrants into the country since there is no way to know which have been radicalized and are a threat to Americans. The FBI admitted there was no way to screen them accurately.

Cruz's SuperPAC launched the ad in Utah that had the image of Trump's wife, and targeted it to Mormon's on FB. That was once again Cruz trying to say that he is more moral than Trump, and even his wife is more moral.

This hurt Trump in Utah. So, IF it is found that Cruz is on the madam list, it could look like Cruz pulled the wool over the eyes of Utah voters.

Blocking any record at all, if it isn't classified, and these aren't, seems to be illegal for any court to do.

This guy, if he really cares about justice, should just leak them and then let the chips fall. If I possesed those documents, I would leak them with a 100% certainty. Not even the fear of death stops me from exposing corruption. An American has to stand for something, and I don't stand for corruption, especially not the pigs we have in office trying to ruin all of us.

If you went to any of the campaigns and said I need 25K to show that your opponent was on a list. What candidate wouldn't have someone drop the 25K on the go find me page.

There is more than one person on the list. Lots of powerful DC people. No one who has to work with people in DC wants to make that many enemies by pushing for release of a list that will embarass hundreds of them.

And the money is not just to release the list. He was asking for help with legal fees to get the restraining order lifted

Cheif Justice John Roberts probably denied the request because he's probably in the records. If I was the attorney I would release them and blame a third party for leaking them.
