I call bogus. He says he needs twenty five grand to make this happen. A high priced attorney who has no other recourse than to go to gofundme to raise this pittance???? Bogus.

Unfortunately, I'm not so sure that MSM or too many people are going to take it seriously if it comes from Anonymous.

But I don't doubt they could have it, since Sibley said he has it on 4 web servers.
And it is likely not all that safe on the court system servers either.

No you're right of course, the press may have even seen it too, but they can't report it as fact until it gets officially released by the court. So until the gag order comes off (if ever), it's just another "we all know it happened, but we can't do a damn thing about it."

Possibly, but, he was in the DC area earlier, and in with the in-crowd in DC, which could have put him in touch with the madam.
And once he was "in", there was nothing stopping him from taking trips back to DC to maintain his "contacts".
Or, the madam might have had services in other states as well.

www.biography.com...

serving as a policy adviser to George W. Bush's 2000 presidential campaign. Cruz explained to The New Yorker, "I essentially had responsibility for all the policy that touched on law" during the campaign.

After a stint as associate deputy attorney general at the Department of Justice, Cruz became director of the Office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission in July 2001

ETA: He also had some US Supreme Court cases between 2003 and 2008, so he might have been back in DC for those.

I just realized - in my post above, note that Cruz was likely in the DC area in 2001, while working for the FTC.
The Anon screen shots are a phone bill from 2001.

That's the year he married Heidi, I think.

Yep - they married May 27, 2001
If the phone records are true - from 9/16/01, then Ted is in trouble

They were in DC at the time, and moved from DC to Texas in 2004.

Wow...I started reading those PDFs from his suspension. Apparently he has been ordered to turn himself in for incarceration over unpaid child support. Get this...they want $100,000 paid before they let him out. The court also said he could pay it if he liquidated assets jointly held my he and his wife. Wow so this guy kinda seems desperate and also seems like a scumbag. Maybe there are things I don't know about his child support case, but they made it clear he has been spending plenty on frivolous court cases yet hasn't paid a single dime on the child support bill.

Slimy and shady kind of comes with the job description "lawyer" most of the time

His issues with wife, or anything else, don't really have anything to do with this case. The PTB have been trying to discredit him since the DC madam case. That is how he ended up disbarred. He has dirt on people in high places as a result of this case, and the courts have made no secret about their attempts to keep it all under wraps.

The DC madam died - supposedly suicide, but many doubt that.

Maybe he took this DC madam case because no one else would touch it, due to the high powered people involved, and the risk of death. And because he is that kind of risk taking person.

(Better Call Saul comes to mind

I don't get how a court can block records like this legally. Whatever happened to outing corruption in a no holds barred fashion, or even freedom of speech?

Blocking any record at all, if it isn't classified, and these aren't, seems to be illegal for any court to do.

This guy, if he really cares about justice, should just leak them and then let the chips fall. If I possesed those documents, I would leak them with a 100% certainty. Not even the fear of death stops me from exposing corruption. An American has to stand for something, and I don't stand for corruption, especially not the pigs we have in office trying to ruin all of us.

Asking for cash on gofundme is suspect.

This is what I am wondering. Why he just can't leak them leads me to believe it's just a bs story to get 'gofundme' money. If it is Cruz, the next president would have owe it to this guy for making the path easier. I'm sure President Trump or President Clinton would pardon him ASAP.

If it was just a gofundme scam, Sibley would not have submitted a motion petition to multiple levels in the courts, including the US Supreme Court, to get the records released.

Look into the background of the situation, not just the OP.

He has been trying to get the records released for a long time.'

ETA: And he has said he will release the records anyway, if the court does not release the records.
It would make things easier for him if the court made it legal, or he would face charges for violating a restraining order.

And - I doubt that Clinton or anyone in power will thank him. I'm sure many of their cronies will be embarrassed when the list comes out.
He will make many enemies.

The more I think about I can see why nobody is putting up the money. Sure, it people will have fun with names but, nobody will really care. Politically it will effect nothing. Many Presidents have had affairs some while in office. So have many religious leaders. As long as you say it was mistake and that you are sorry nobody seems to care. At this point things like affairs and smoking pot so not seem to effect peoples voting habits in the least.

For the most part, true. Most people will not care.

However, when a certain candidate carries around a bible, portrays himself as moral and Christian, and posts prayer-like tributes to God on his Facebook - all in an effort to get the votes of evangelicals and others to whom it does matter --- then some people will care.
It would show that someone is a liar and a fraud.

ETA: Utah might even scream for a do-over on the primary

It may make a difference if it is Cruz though. He has been running the bible-thumping, holier than thou, divinely preordained campaign. After all his old man said he is one of the anointed kings who will save our country. I think this will paint him as a greater hypocrit than the competition, and lower his standing in the eyes of evangelicals.

Didn't you get the memo? Evidence isn't needed for anything any more, just make a YouTube vid and the lazy masses will believe every word of it - as long as it's something they want to believe, of course.

Wait, aren't you the one who bashed trump for trying to change the laws to prosecute libelous reporters?

hmm
This is interesting:

Sibley has refused to provide any clues about what information relevant to the presidential election he claims to have. He says he’s not concerned that some citizens are incorrectly guessing about one of the five remaining candidates in the Democratic and Republican primaries.
www.usnews.com...

Since Cruz seems to be the one that most are guessing.... now I wonder.
