There is no evidence that the bruises were caused by this incident.

By reading the police report, it does appear that they correlate the bruising with a "grabbing type" injury.

That will be her statement, but there is no evidence of it - and she has already been caught lying.

Whether she has lied in the past or not seems irrelevant.

The video shows what happened and I would assume the police/investigators have photos of the bruises. Reasonable suspicion has already been established.

It is reasonable to conclude that the bruises were created by the act seen in the video and that is how it appears the police are handling this.

Unless evidence is found to suggest she "fabricated" the bruises, the police will pursue this under reasonable suspicion and evidence from the video.

Whether or not we agree with that is irrelevant as well.

I dont think the judge will make an assumption that bruises shown on twitter a couple of days later are due to the incident. This is especially true when you consider that the bruises are in a different place to where she was grabbed.

There is absolutely no evidence at all that the bruises were created by that incident. Note also that they were shown with a little message too - did you read it? Something like 'i guess these are fake too' [sic]. She had taken flak about making it up , then the bruises appeared - in a different place to where she was grabbed. i don't think the defence will have any trouble with that one.

Probably doesn't matter anyway - force is not considered as far as I am aware in simple battery.

Guess I haven't heard about that. Where was she grabbed and where are the bruises located?

They don't have to necessarily prove the bruises were created by this incident. All they need is reasonable suspicion.

Police do not pursue it...the local DA or prosecutors do. This would be thrown out anywhere except here in all reality. This is a waste of time. The MSM as moved on and in 5-6 weeks it will be a page 9 story with two paragraphs.

Donald Trump is about business. He fired a staffer over racial comments so why not here? It is not like a history of backing bad staff members...or employees.

You could be right about the location of the grab. If you're trying to get someone in a crowd it's most likely you would grab the upper arm, not the wrist area.

Can anyone do an experiment?

He did grab the upper arm. In the police report it states he grabs her twice. Both times on her left arm. In the video, you can see him grab near the shoulder of her upper arm.

The video only shows one grab... the police report will be based on her statement.
Regardless - no evidence that the bruise was caused by a grab.

These sorts of charges are quite common, if I am not mistaken.

This is a waste of time.

Agreed.

Possibly, but who cares what the MSM is doing?

Cue the Trump fanboy rant.

We get it man. You are all-in for Trump.

Incorrect. The police report included this:

The video parallels what Fields had told me

After extending his arm out, Lewandowski appeared to reach for Fields?s left arm with his left hand, allowing him to get closer to Fields. Lewandowski then grabbed Fields left arm with his right hand, causing her to turn and step back.

Two grabs.

Jeez. Have they put this woman beating thug in jail yet? This is the way the Trump flock operates. I'd never force myself upon a woman like this conservative. It's an embarrassment to this country and yet so many support behavior like this.

'Appeared to reach for' does not equal grab.

One grab... not in the place of the bruise.... unless reaching for someone now causes bruising.

Remember the admission that Corey Lewandowski said he did, indeed, manhandle Michelle? And that he didn't realize she was a Breitbart reporter? NEVER HAPPENED. (And Michelle made these allegations herself!)

www.breitbart.com... -report/

These are texts between reporter Matthew Boyle and Lewandowski. It seems it started by Field's boyfriend, Jamie Weinstein (The Daily Caller), who made an angry tweet and called Lewandowski a 'thug'. Lewandowski was not even aware of what was going on.

Re. Jamie Weinstein, Daily Call editor, Field's boyfriend who started the Twitter accusations...
Have you seen his articles? For months he has been an anti-Trump heavy hitter.
His tweets all the way back are pro-Cruz and anti-Trump. twitter.com...
Now - what do you think his motives were in stirring this up?

I'm surprised that crow didn't press charges against Bernie. After all, he touches her just as forcefully as Lewandowski does.

Some of clintons aides have been just as rough so its not just the"conservatives" and actually trumps not a conservative hes a populist. The aid needs to step down EVEN THOUGH he hasnt been found guilty of anything yet to help trump out. Or trump can"fake" firing him. What s embarrassing is th e obvious attempt here to cause trouble. with th e florida DA even had worked for clinton in th e past. Conflict of interest at th e least.

You are more than welcome to deny what appears to have happened. I couldn't care less, as I have no dog in this fight. But it does "appear" that he grabbed her twice. One potential grab on the left forearm where the bruising took place. The other on the upper arm. The first grab caused her to change her momentum. Therefore it is reasonable to conclude contact was made with the first "reach".

Can you provide evidence that contradicts the police report and video?

Also, he had his court hearing yesterday. How did he plead?

I think his court hearing is May 4th. At least that's what I read from several articles.

That could be true. I thought it was April 4th, but I haven't really paid attention to that aspect.

They usually give you time to prepare for your court date so it's most likely May 4th.
