The Day of Yahweh will be a prolonged period; it must not be confined to “seven years,” as is so often done. These events may occupy a period of thirty-three years; and if to these we add the seven years of the last week of Daniel, we have a period of forty years. Matt. Chapter 24, “What shall be the sign of your coming, and of the sunteleia of the age?”

Sunteleia denotes a finishing or ending together, or in conjunction with other things. It implies that several things meet together, and reach their end during the same period; whereas telos is the point of time at the end of that period. The sign of the telos is the setting up of “the abomination of desolation” spoken of by Daniel the prophet.

Thus the telos, those who endure to this, the same shall be saved, and will be among the overcomers specially referred to in these seven letters during the Great Tribulation; to whom these promises are made, and to whom they peculiarly refer. Spiritual Israel, our kingdom, our hope. One problem with your spirit teaching, you will face these people first. They are ready for you, you will have to wash your own robes.

Gentile spiritual Israel, these people are ready for you. www.youtube.com...

I took out something that makes no since, some kind of superiority teaching that seems to be added to Hebrews?

Hebrews 1:1-3:15;
From of old, Yahweh spoke to the Israelites fathers by the prophets in every manner, and in all ways; but in these later days, Yahweh has conversed with us, by his son; whom Yahweh has constituted heir of all things, and when Yeshua made a purgation of sins, then Yeshua sat down on the right hand of Yahweh. Wherefore, my brethren, who are called with a calling that is from heaven, consider this high priest of our profession, Yeshua the Messiah; because Yahweh has said, “O, if you would but heed my charge this day; do not be stubborn as at Meribah, in the wilderness, when your fathers put me to the test, tried me, though they had seen my deeds. Forty years I was provoked by that generation; I thought, they are a senseless people; they would not know my ways. Concerning them, I swore in anger, they shall never come to my resting-place!” Beware, therefore, my brethren, lest there be in any of us an evil heart that believes not, and we depart from the living Yahweh; but we need to examine ourselves all the days, during the day which is called today; and let none of us be hardened, through the deceitfulness of sin; for we have part with the Messiah, if we persevere in this firm confidence, from the beginning to the end; as it was said, “O, if you would but heed my charge this day.” Do not harden your hearts to anger Yahweh.

Hebrews 1:4-2:18; 3:2-6 is what was left out?

No wonder spiritual Israel believers wanted Paul to be the one to have written Hebrews. Paul didn't write Hebrews.

Thought I would critique your post here. I think the timeframe is wrong. It's not 33 years. It's 70 to 80 years. Matthew 24-34 states this. KJV.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

As I see it the term "generation" here is not being used as a measure of time. Rather it's being used to define a group of people. The people being born at the time of the first end time event.

Now even though verse 14 describes that event and there is no way to determine exactly when that event happened I can pose a substitute for that. The creation of the state of Israel in 1948. An end time event predicted in multiple places in the bible.

So I would say that the event of Matthew 24-14 happened on or before May of 1948. The "generation" is at least 68 years old. So May 15 2028 is probably the last possible date for your "telos".

Why are you speculating about 2000 year old prophecies that were not true 2000 years ago?

And if they were true, it would have no effect on anyone living today, only the last days.

Which every generation since Jesus thought was THEIR time just like you do now.

It wasn't true for them, and isn't for us.

Stop fantasizing about the Apocalypse, it's a metaphor for death.

Why do you hate Israel so much?

Because of what Jesus Christ said.

Mark 14.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Also we have several things happen since 1948 that indicates he was talking about this generation. First off the creation of a state of Israel. An event predicted multiple times in end time's eschatology. That means it's a likely fig leaf from the parable quoted above.

Secondly, 9-11 and the current mess in the middle east. In the book of Daniel there is a number of end time prophesies. And this is the first event of the end times according to Daniel.

Daniel 11
2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

I would point out this is a perfect simile of what led up to the 9-11 attacks. Specifically the Washington DC attack. A place that resembles a 21st century Athens with all the Greco-Roman architecture.

And if that's not enough then there is the 2nd and 3rd events of his end times to worry about. The battle of the ram and goat from Daniel 8. According to that prophesy the "Greeks" from 11-2 attack the middle east and conquer 2 kings there. Iraq and Afghanistan look awfully like a fulfillment of the prophesy. So at this time I count 5 possible fig leaves.

Hell yes, I would be nervous at this point.

And one other thing from Matthew.
Matthew 24
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

So what did Jesus Christ mean by "carcass" here? I postulate this. He is referring back to the ram of Daniel 8. Because once the ram loses the fight it dies and becomes a carcass. I believe we're watching that process happen in the middle east right now.

If not then it's all been one HELL of a coincidence.

So you are twisting Jesus words to support your hatred.

You think you're doing something new? Please anti Semitism is nothing new.

But it is pure racism. At least you admit it.

Jesus was executed under Roman rule in a 2000 year old conspiracy between a very small number of Jews.

But he also WAS s Jew. You have no right to hate Israel because of something that may or may not have actually happened 2000 years ago.

Trying to use Jesus words to justify your hatred of Jews is just sickening.

Jesus was speaking to his disciples. He told them that the end of this world was coming before their generation would pass. Of course we know this isn't true and it's a failed prophecy. But that end time preaching continued. Jesus was a man and nothing more. A man who had some good ideals but flawed nonetheless.

The original Jerusalem church didn't worship Yeshua, who said to ONLY worship God. He was a Righteous man but a man nonetheless.

False prophets like Saul distorted his original message beyond recognition.

Now you have all these apocalyptic pornography fanatics who want to see Israel destroyed over a 2000 year old injustice.

They must have missed the part where Yeshua says to love even your enemies. Anyone can say they love anyone but it's easy to spot the Jew haters.

They are jealous of the level of success Jews enjoy because they get proper educations and are in general well -to-do with good communities and a rich tradition that they pretend to also believe in but think they happen to have the correct version in the Godman Christ.

I laugh my ass off when people try to use the bible as a predictor of future events. It is one of the most pathetic things someone can do with the teachings of Yeshua.

I said asked why do you hate Israel?

You said," because...,"

Yeshua did not teach such hatred but liars in dirty rags have misrepresented his real teachings and everyone who follows Paul is following the FALSE prophet.

Jesus was a true prophet " By their fruits you shall know them" Is a statement attributed to Jesus by the gospel who makes no mention of Jesus claims to God-hood nor does he demand faith in his existence as a condition for immortality.

Again, you said, in reply to my question "why do you hate Israel?"you answered:
"Because..."

I say Jesus never taught us how to hate. You hating what you now call "spiritual Israel" is still hate and calling it spiritual is just empty and blind hate.

But by all means, tell me again that my "robe" is the filthy one.

Now you are trying to tie the bible to 9-11 which is so insane that you take the two must difficult to follow books that are so obscure that they could mean anything.

But you admitted to, then denied, hatred in one breath. And you expect to be taken seriously?

You are a joke.

I find it strange that you take a negative stance towards those who might find anti-Semitism something that is intolerable and would voice it without shame.

You should refrain from your comments if all you are going to do is defend hate.

The fact that you think you are a voice of reason shows who you really are.

Someone who needs to feel superior and does so by following people on the internet and compensating for my anti-hate rhetoric by making me somehow, in typical demented fashion, the offensive one.
