What a shame you're wrong, isn't it?

Do you honestly think this hasn't been discussed before? Seriously?

But OK, if it doesn't happen, we'll just blame your attitude if that'll make you happy. 'cause we're all about happiness.

Well to be fair blaming Grainofsand is pretty much what a lot of us UK members do anyway so at least we know how to do it.

He is one of those no holds barred, say it as you see it kind of chaps.

Salt of the earth and all those other silly phrases that people use to explain their loud mouthed over opinionated mate to avoid yet another bar brawl...

Haha behave, it would be boring as if we all played the polite card.
I speak the same on ATS as I do in the pub, got the nose to prove it as well.
You've had way more posts removed than I have in the last few weeks anyway so I can't be doing too bad.
...I've been good

I think that might be because I have not had any real work for about 2 weeks.

Too much free time and some interesting UK relevant topics is not a good mix for me especially if you add beer.

I have 2 bathrooms to refit, tile and decorate staring tomorrow though so will hopefully manage to stay out of trouble.

No, it is because you like the naughty step more than I do.

For the record, I think the staff/admin/mods do a sterling job here, not sucking up to the bouncers as I imagine half of them hate me, but just so they know, I love what they do.
I don't like bouncers in clubs generally, I don't like any authority to be honest but they are a necessary tool, and ATS would be # if they weren't as good at what they do.

On-topic, Euro forum or not, I enjoy ATS.

All joking aside I do think that a UK/EU specific forum would be beneficial to the site as a whole.

I just had a quick mooch at the current membership and was quite suprised at how many members I recognised as British or European in the first six or seven pages when looking at the most flagged existing members.

I would guess that we are maybe third behind the US and Canada in terms of contributing members.

I must be tired, I tried clicking that flag about 15 times expecting it to take me to a nice shiny UK forum..

Not that I notice things like this but I had to take a screenshot of the recent page and this threads stats right now...

This could be a sign of things to come...

I still reckon a Europe and uk forum would be good. There are forums for other parts of the world so why not that too?

I don't see it as being a big deal not to have it and can't see why it would be a problem.

I was nodding at your post that UK members are very active on ATS.

A scurrilous bunch of malcontents united under the same bad weather system.

You trying to say there's something wrong with our weather? Nought wrong with a bit of water. Sun comes out once a month (that's when I close the curtains because I can't see the tv).

I agree, but it should be a European forum, not just only EU forum. Since there are some countries in Europe that is not a part of EU. My country is not part of EU, but is in Europe.

Good point.

Also it would be typical of British luck for ATS to make an EU forum only for us to leave the EU.

Wouldn't that be ironic

a reply to: pompel9 can't we just leave the forum , but pick and choose what topics to discuss. we can dominate it with British news and ignore all the European foreign stuff.
