I've grown to like the idea of a Euro forum and will mention it to the bosses.

The language isn't an issue because anyone can check anything out in the urban dictionary. T&Cs and moderation aren't a problem either because when someone is being a tool, it's usually obvious. The toughest thing about off-topics is identifying ebb and flow conversation from the mindless/deliberate off-topic that causes thread drift.

This ^^^ is the kind of comment that puts anyone off listening to requests, right? On one hand, you're asking for a UK forum and on the other you insult the site and the staff. Have you ever got anything in life by insulting someone and then asking for something off them? Pet's forum had zero, zilch and less than FA to do with a Euro forum. It came about because of lots of PMs to the bosses and widespread support - exactly what the Euro forum hasn't had.

Luckily, I like the idea regardless of whether someone's being a dick about it or not.

I also suggest making the new forum a 'no stars' place like this one, it forces comments and conversation.
Can you imagine how many stars Kandinsky would have got for the dick line?! The screen would be awash with them by now!

But with no stars how would the little gangs be able bully members that do not agree with their views?

It would also eliminate us from the All star rankings.

Maybe they could introduce a new system, replace the flags for cups of tea and the stars for biscuits?

No good fella, if the new forum is to be 'Euro' something then it would have to be tea and croissants or such like replacing stars n flags, to reflect the diversity of course.

Blame whatever you like, I was teasing more than anything, I'm well chilled with my cat on my lap, and if the 'Euro' forum ever happens I shall be pleasantly surprised.
