Trusting anecdotal evidence of the existence of ghosts is extremely difficult for me, and this type of evidence is mostly what you find when researching this topic. I want SO badly to experience something that would sway my current disbelief. Also - I ain't afraid of no ghost. *cue the music*

When and if you see a ghost, you will know. You will know it is a ghost with every fiber of your being. I will not describe my 2 experiences here, you need your own. If and when it happens, it is very difficult to not be afraid, even if the thing is not threatening.

Hopefully, one day, you see one and there will be a STDWYTK about it.

Great having you guys here. I love How Stuff Works!

Scalia's death...natural causes or not?

Basis for either opinion?

Oh, man. SO. MANY.
Probably too many to list without missing stuff! With that said, here's a (n incomplete) list, in no particular order:
1. Closed Cities in Russia and elsewhere
2. Aokigahara, the Japanese suicide forest
3. North Korea/ The DPRK
4. The alleged underwater pyramid of Rock Lake
5. Çatalhöyük
6. The (now-closed?) HAARP facility
7. Deigo Garcia
8. DARPA's classified labs
9. ISS (hey, dream big, right?)
10. Mars!
11. Bohemian Grove
12. The Skull & Bones Tomb
13. The catacombs of France and other European countries
14. The abandoned rail station beneath NYC
15. Antarctica

Might have to come back to this and list some more... any suggestions in the meantime?

Ah... jury's out in this one (in my opinion).
Serving on SCOTUS has to be incredibly stressful, but this hunting trip stuff is weird. Still sorting this one out. On one hand, people with power tend to congregate, but on the other hand, the timing is might strange.

What do you think?

Hey OtherSideOfTheCoin,

We strive to maintain objectivity when we cover any topic - whether it's energy vampirism or the death of Michael Hastings. Our personal beliefs very rarely make it into our content (at least that's the goal). Hopefully by the end of each episode, the person viewing or listening will have made up their own mind from the evidence (or lack of evidence) provided.

My wife is a school psychologist and swears that a full-moon has a direct impact on the behavior of children (at least in a school setting). Also, several of my friends who work in hospitals believe there is some type of correlation. As for me -- time to do some homework. Thanks for the question!

I have been investigating The Bennington Triangle and the diappearance of Paula Jean Weldon. I am writing a book. It would be nice to see a video from you guys on it.

wiki Paula jean Weldon

Lots of 'ghost towns' that became unincorperated.

It's likely that many people purposefully disappear in National Parks. It's also likely that people have been murdered. As we delve into this, we're learning more and more odd stuff. It's easy, sometimes, to forget just HOW BIG the US is. Forget a needle in a haystack -- even with obsessive surveillance technology, an individual person is more like a mote of dust on a windy day.
Here's hoping we learn more about this, and soon. Hoping we can interview Mr. Paulides in the future!

Thanks for your reply.
I am hoping you can interview him as well!

OK so you guy's bottled my first question and I understand that

Lets get down to real ATS topics.

Do you like Bacon?

This could make or break your reputations here so think carefully before you answer.

I might get burned for this one but bacon is one of my chief vices. I was interested in that seaweed that's supposed to taste like bacon, but the reviews are terrible.

I am sorry, innocent pigs. I know you are intelligent creatures, yet I am weak in the face of your immense deliciousness.

Sometimes I wonder what pigs would do were the positions reversed. I think they'd eat us.

Imagine I'm a divine being and I can grant each of you 1 wish, it can be anything from the cure to cancer, to granting the knowledge for the species to attain FTL space travel, to time travel itself or something as simple as offering the definitive truth to 9/11, energy vampires etc or even granting you the most delicious cheeseburger you will ever eat in your life

It can literally be any wish.

What would you wish for and why ?

I have to agree on this one. As "foul" as it is claimed to be for one's health, American-style bacon is like an addiction......

Just lately I have been doing a lot of physical labor, and my appetite has improved - and I'm craving stuff like bacon, and Braunschweiger, and hot dogs.......all of which I usually refuse.

I listen to what my body is telling me. "Oh, I need some iron and salt? Okay."
Last check up, my lab results showed I was short on sodium.....

I am blessed with good genetics in that department. I can eat or drink whatever I want - and don't gain weight.....
so, if my brains says "eat this!" I'll do it.....
