I knew Ted was dirty. It's in his eyes. He does not deserve power. Especially when holding a Bible
and using it for neocon ascension up the ranks. God has a much clearer voice than any man can mimic
from using the Bible.

Did Ted Cruz ever say the story was false and did he deny having affair?

I was watching clips and all I heard was that the story is garbage. That's not denying the story. If you watched the movie All The Presidents Men one of the tactics they used was looking for what they called a non denial denial. This usually meant their was more to the story.

I didn't see Cruz entire response and I was wondering did he categorically deny the allegations and deny having an affair?

Seriously though, who cares. It will hurt him because of the people who follow him but infidelity is not a reason to not vote for someone for president. Not saving US citizens who are dying...that matters. High Taxes...that matters. Backroom bj's....not on my list of issues.

Whether this is true or not, Cruz has already handled it badly. His rebuttal was a garbled mess that included 'rat copulation' in an awkward attack on Trump and crucially he has categorically blamed Trump with no proof at all, yet hypocritically absolved himself from the Melania GQ picture when a Super-PAC slut-shamed her to Cruz's benefit.

The guy is just a slimy hypocrite, which was obvious from the moment I saw him.

I like that this kind of thing is happening. It seems to be the way we should move forward. All politicians should be held to a higher degree of scrutiny than the average person, and I say this for a reason.

The reason a politician becomes a politician should be based purely on their desire to do the right thing for the people. If any politician is found to lack the moral fibre required he/she should not be allowed to become a politician at all.

I like Douglas Adams' saying:

It is a well-known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it... anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.

Now given that some politicians will almost invariably achieve their goals, we should really ensure that those who do, do so for the right reasons.

Just my opinion.

But, likewise, Obama did not support gay marriage, in 2008, and refused to march in any pride parades and STILL no one cared when Larry Sinclair claimed he had a 2-night drug-filled sexual tryst with him.

I still say this potential scandal will only mean exactly what the media says it means. I, for one, refuse to be led. I can already see that it's as likely to look bad on Trump as it is Cruz. If it keeps playing out this way, I am certain this is just part of the grand plan to make sure democrats win it all in November.
