Right-Wing Alt Media, Bloggers Catfished by Fake "Rioter?"

I was reviewing footage from the Chicago Trump rally that was cancelled on March 11 and I noticed that multiple pro-Trump YouTube channels were posting video that had been edited to remove an particular unflattering incident. I will post about this later in a different thread because it deserves it's own but it's late as hell and I just want to get this posted. For the purpose of this thread, it suffices to say that I was looking for additional video and I stumbled across this YouTube video from Infowars's Paul Joseph Watson:



At 19s, you'll see a clip of a gun being fired as Watson says, "fired guns in the air and threatened to rape." I've had some experience dissecting disinformation video collages that contain completely unrelated clips and this didn't seem to fit. So I searched for additional video and I quickly found this video from "media analyst" Mark Dice:



I took note of the Twitter user and went to Twitter to view the feed. Suspended. So I took to Google and quickly found a Wordpress blog with the suspended account's entire feed screenshotted. That blog is American Political Commentary and here's the text at the top:

Donald Trump recently cancelled a rally in Chicago, due to overwhelming hostility toward his campaign’s message. One such person in attendance was Jamaal Williams, a Bernie Sanders supporter. If you try to reach out to him on Twitter (@RUthless187), you now will find this message:

Predicting this outcome, I made sure to take screenshots of every Tweet he sent and download/take screenshots of every piece of media he uploaded. While Twitter’s actions might have temporarily hindered scrutiny of someone on the left, as seems commonplace these days, they were too little too late. For starters, here is his profile picture, and bio. (Notice the “Feel the Bern” hashtag).

The Twitter feed goes back six months and is filled with tweets about rioting and looting, BLM, and profuse racial epithets (for blacks and whites). "Jamaal Williams" appears to have a brother "Jayrome Williams" who is the most frequently tweeted to/from user. It was a pro-Trump blogger's wet dream and that's when the doubt really set in — it was over the top. There was also a couple references to Baltimore which didn't add up.

I went back to Twitter to check up on the "brother" and discovered a new account for "Jamaal Williams" here. At this point, 95% convinced that this was a fake account, I set about looking for the source of the images of "Jamaal" and "Jayrome."

Unfortunately, there weren't a lot of images and the reverse images searches were pointing me back to the Twitter accounts I already had. I found some additional images at this Buzzpo post but they didn't yield anything but reposts of the same misinformation. Then I looked up this picture here from the new account:



Without this, I might not have figured this all out tonight. At any rate, reverse image searching yielded only a couple results but the one at twicsy.com was all I needed. From there I came up with another lead — the Twitter account for the woman in the image. Her identity isn't specifically relevant but it suffices to say I scrolled down her feed a little bit and saw her retweeting from somebody who looked promising based on the content of the tweet and his choice of a red jacket. I opened up that user's feed and lo and behold @RUthless108's profile pic:



You'll notice that it's the same person. You'll also notice the identical line at the top of the profile "I'm Hardbody I dont die try again." Scrolling down through his feed, I noticed a few things:

1. His name is Kevin.
2. He's not from Chicago.
3. He appeared to be a rapper.
4. He doesn't talk about rioting or looting or politics.
5. Not a single mention of Trump, Chicago, a rally, or BLM

A little more reading and I came across a link to a "Fast Cash Boyz" song. That's when I remembered that in some of the images, "Jamaal Williams" was wearing a cap and sweatshirt with the letters "FCB." FCB is based in Memphis, TN.

I'd like to pat myself on the back a bit more and gloat but I'll wrap this up. I've contacted this person on Twitter and alerted him that his images are being associated with this Twitter user and to a fictitious event that almost certainly didn't happen.

Google "Jamaal Williams Trump" and you'll see:

To name a few. There's also several YouTube videos making the same claims including of course PJW. Sun's up. That's it. I'll be back later with a follow up thread about the video editing I referenced earlier. I'll also update about the response I get from not-Jamaal Williams on Twitter.

Brilliant detective work! I hope your post gets the attention it deserves. I'm beginning to suspect that the Trump rally was a con all along. Trump may be too narcissistic to believe that anyone dislikes him, but surely his campaign managers know that the entire city of Chicago resents his building an ugly tower on the Chicago River that spoils an architecturally significant area, then rubbing salt in the wound by putting his name in gigantic letters at eye level. I have it on good authority that the sign will read "RUMP" this summer.

The Trump campaign deliberately arranged a rally in what it knew would be the most hostile territory possible, just so they could spin it in such a way as to make Trump supporters into the victims, instead of the perpetrators, of violence.

Situations like this is why I do not trust ANY media outlet. There is a HUGE key component missing from journalism these days and its simple research.

The sad part about this is if this is going on with out Kevin's knowledge, this type of propaganda could absolutely destroy his life.

He is an idiot for discharging firearms like that regardless of when and where he did it, but using him as a poster boy for Trump protest, BLM and #FeeltheBurn. That is some next level defamation of all involved.

Or its equally possible, and maybe more likely that he set up another twitter account so as not to associate politics with his music "career". Because politics isn't really "cool" in the "thug life".

I've often wondered the same about ISIS/ISIL They want recruits to drive the brand new Toyotas but when they do a dastardly deed they are hooded and making sure to be wearing gloves. Is this to hide the blondes and browns from the 'norm'? If I ever get into a firefight I hope I have a hood to throw on to make sure I narrow My vision, I'd hate to be able to have My head on a swivel to see any would-be attackers..

The video in the OP patches together scenes that have nothing to do with the rally in Chicago. The gun firing is just one example. Would you like a complete analysis? Highlights include various "Occupy" protests, the NATO protests in Chicago, rioting in Ferguson. Look, just pay attention to the station ID logos in the various scenes and you can see that most of them cannot possibly have been shot at the Chicago rally.

Good, then let's agree that Donald Trump and his supporters are thugs, and that the peaceful black protesters are not.
