Let's be honest here, rioting — actual rioting — doesn't typically have anything to do with right/left political ideology as much as socioeconomic standing. It's only a matter of time now before we see Trumpians rioting with the employment situation dragging many formerly middle class conservatives down to the level at which they've happily seen other groups languish.

Have you forgotten, there was a big push on social media and even here on ATS (and I can link to some comments in u2u if you want) last year to block the roads into Roseburg, OR to prevent prevent the presidential motorcade from entering?

Lastly, FTR many truly liberal leftists aren't pro gun control (I'm not) and many own guns. I don't think conservatives as a group are more violent because they have higher rates of gun ownership either.
