Is it just me or did ATS get a whole lot simpler and faster?

All of a sudden ATS just seemed to get a lot less complicated and is faster than I have ever known it?

On an oldish desktop with kubuntu running chrome but it just got a lot quicker and more simplistic.

Yeah, the past couple of days ATS was laggy a bit. Today it feels like a sluggish bubble popped and then started running zippy.

Seems to be zippyer

and it's easier to tweek the zoom (FireFox)

Not bad.

Much better !!!!

Less cluttered too, like the conspiracy/off topic buttons on the top right etc.
Seems smoother design all over actually.

I was aware of the issues but this seems a lot more streamlined and a lot faster all round.

Yes it seems a lot better to me in the last 2 days.

The backgrounds don't annoy me anymore, I am actually starting to like them lol.

In addition to some of the front-end refinements that were deployed today, a long-list of back-end performance tweaks were also deployed. However -- -- -- -- I didn't think anyone other than the guy (me) watching the CPU utilization would notice a performance improvement.
