To ATS

I looked for a Size reference to images, for avatar and BG, but the source i found was from the 17th century.. Would be appreciated if it was updated, somehwere easily found...

I don't think any new standard has been updated except for length(or at least on background avatar image length) because the new layout, more is in the works. I'd be looking at the last standards of 5/3

Maximum pixel dimensions: 170 pixels wide by 240 pixels high. Maximum file size: Remains 75k

Background

Pixel Space: The new "visible" space for background images is 180 pixels wide and 400-480 pixels tall (depending on other factors in your mini-profile).

Length limitless, width i made a 200px to centre it, took me about 10 minutes of errors with bg, with the profile pic, im not even gonna make an effort..

Try 177 for the horizontal and 400 for the vertical. That's how I finally got mine to come out

The secret to getting more of the length to be visible is to create a clear gif file and use it as an avatar over the background.

It's been awhile, but I believe mine is 200 x 480.

200 x whatever length you choose (over 450 at least).
Remember you need the transparent profile pic as well.

I was shocked I could make my avatar appear. I know next to nothing about such things.
