20 what...help...

I saw something about new members having to post 20 post, or get 20 replies. I am new to this, and if anyone can explain how this works, that would be awesome.

Simply respond to 20 threads, and walla, you can post threads, again, simply 20 sensible or non sensible responses and you're good to go.


Oh..and don't vote for Clinton or you're kicked out

I think it is 5 posts for most forums. Please go and post 3 more times. Shhhhhh! and not in introductions again. It changed from 20 I believe, but not for all forums.

You just have to make a minimal number of posts before starting a thread. This policy serves two purposes. It prevents spammers from being able to engage in easy stealth marketing and it also allows new members a small buffer to get a feel for ATS posting etiquette.

I am not current on the actual number at the moment, but I think that it may have been lowered from the stated 20 posts, though I could be wrong... Either way, you're close. Just look for a few threads that interest you, add your thoughts and you're there!

Click on 'reply' in a post field, that will be one reply. Your counter is up to eleven now. You've replied to others eleven times.

Some forums are special and require a higher posting count. If theres no button to start a new thread in these special forums, then you need a higher count.
