Hey,
I just wanted to pop in and say that I read your post, and thought you raised an interesting subject.
What I find troubling with it is your call to vote for other candidates that if elected would be no better for our common good than any perceived
threat Trump could pose.
I agree we must treat our allies as such, but frankly the American people have greater concerns than giving to Israel what has been a burden beyond
our alliance. In years past Israels defense has been almost entirely subsidized by the US government, which has brought to us many problems and
pressure from abroad.
The current attitude towards Israel in the US is a product of a false and less than honest disposition by Israel towards the American people. There
have been countless instances of our own security being compromised by Israels quasi fascist government looking out for its own interests and being
very ungrateful for all that has been done for them.
I am not going to cite friendly fire incidents which have been as far ranging from US naval vessels under attack from Israeli aircraft to individual
soldiers under Israeli sniper fire. The end purpose of which is to incite more concerted efforts against Israels enemies on our part as a response to
the loss of american lives.
I would rather point to Israel trying to make and choose our enemies which are not ours but theirs. There has not been a unified effort to work with
us. We are the big muscle for the little instigator. Human rights violations in which European and American non for profit workers have suffered
aside....there is no effort on the part of Israel to be honest when speaking to their American counterparts about defensive strategies. They ask for
the tools but do not heed our conditions for their use.
Israel always makes it seem like they are only the victim when they are only that to us. To their enemies they have been bold and ruthless. A strategy
we have not signed on for. We have not encouraged an aggressor strategy and frankly is counter to our own internationally.
The Iran nuclear deal would have gone far better if Israel would have ended decades long secrecy about its own nuclear weapons. A point that has
fueled Irans response in developing its own arsenal.
If Israel would separate its POLITICAL ethos of Zionism from its government and its institutions allot would be well on its way to being solved. If
they would tone down the nature of their response to opposition both internally and abroad it would help their cause. Subverting the democratic
process of another sovereign nation that has done much for them is not what a good ally does. Financially they use the funds we give them for defense
to keep our political climate volatile and off center so as to always help politicians sympathetic to their needs with NO REGARD to the American
people.
They have done much that has been to their detriment in the long run. I support keeping Israel safe since they are our allies. I do not condone their
efforts to run my country into greater financial ruin and reduced security. They are a separate nation and my loyalty like all Americans is to OUR
country and OUR people.
The fascist nature of the current government has not helped them and now they must adapt and sacrifice this stance of absolutism and the use of force
to all who oppose. The many dark and subversive acts against my people must stop.
We will support Israel but not as fools. They must change what is a situation of their making in large part that is NO LONGER sustainable for the
American people in principle and practicality.
As far as Trump.
The opposition to him is doing everything to validate him and launch him into power. Tactics like the ones being used in response to WORDS are not
something we here in the US can tolerate. We are a spartan society, especially on the right. If you incite violence in response to a persons words, NO
ONE will side with you. You will find yourself surrounded by Spartans seeing red like bulls.
If his words are ringing true it is because our political class has failed us. The same political class who sold our prosperity and security to causes
like Israels quest for a greater piece of the middle east pie. The wanton quest for land and power as promised in religious texts-
Trump is being validated in his words. He has renounced his pledge to pay for legal fees of people attacking others in his name. He may rethink his
stance on this if someone tries to hurt him again. He is being softer now having secured the most hard line voters and in an effort to appeal to more
moderates.
IF he is provoked his supporters will no longer listen to words coming from what seems like underhanded people employing subversive and dangerous
tactics against all Americans.
The foreign influence in this election is palpable. The far right extremists in Europe now gaining power are too involved. Israel is too involved.
Socialist hardliners from the world over are too involved.
This mess is going to blow up in everyone's face and it will be just and meet.
When you try to influence a democratic process, no matter how good your intentions are, you end up empowering people who are fickle and dangerous to
all. People with only loyalty to themselves.
Israel and the world would be better served by an honest US president seeking to protect his people and vying for our greater prosperity.
A corporate sympathizer, an Israeli apologist, a socialist radical, all would be better served, since as you can tell....people are letting themselves
be fooled to get the most extreme opposition to those forces in power.
It is human nature. For too long our backs have been broken and the terrible weight of greed and lust for power have left us void of reason beyond
VENGEANCE-
Trump is our pitchfork and our torch and we know it is also a noose at our necks. BUT as human nature as shown all, man would rather die taking his
enemies with him, than suffer as a slave for a days worth of life in worsening conditions.
The truth is, there is no solution. We are not allowed to have a real anti establishment candidate. We have NO OPTION when it comes to getting a good
and valid candidate no matter the office.
This situation has left us with nothing to lose. There is no point in pretending Rubio or any of these last ditch candidates will be different. We
might as well have a fascist dictator who will destroy the entire world. The world has watched the US burn and suffer for the crime of being wealthy
and safe. Things we fought for but left others with their hands in our pockets and their lies in our minds. Poverty and confusion. Insecurity and
discord. All these things we suffer and it is the product of being too involved with the worlds wealthy and powerful, serving their needs.
I do not support Trump. I despise the whole farce and illusion of a system we have. What I say is to the sentiment of my fellow Americans.
Minorities are scared they will be deported since they have wasted decades not trying to legalize their situation...or lose their public assistance
they have been to dependent on for generations. Voting against candidates and in favor of others to secure these fleeting virtues of prolonged illegal
status and prolonged generational welfare have left us politically void of intelligence. Again, the product of all that has been done to us.
