He was calling for the arrests of protesters so yes he's a totalitarian bully

Dude, Hillary only so much milk. Move over.

I think Trump is a jackass, but you're raping the girl in a short skirt.

Yes, he is and expect more violence. This is man who will not drop the ego for anyone. This will inevitably lead to a tragedy. A tragedy which he will not take any responsibility for. His supporters will continue to make excuses for his violent rhetoric.

"Are we going to see increasing violence at political rallies this year because of Donald Trump's rhetoric? Bernie Sanders condemns violence, but it is true that some of his followers get frothy towards Trump. Could this violence at political rallies turn into more, causing things to get violent elsewhere politically in the U.S.?"

Frankly, this appears to me to be the perfect set up for a lot more violence this spring and summer. Its all about marketing and branding. The leftist MSM has started a campaign to brand Trump and his supporters as racists and as xenophobes because of Trumps comments about immigrants and Muslims.

In response, the leftists are activating their "hit" squads at Moveon.org and BLM with funding from Soros and they've announced their intentions to #SHUTITDOWN, just as they did in Chicago.

And just wait till Trump takes this show west to California!

We all know that Donald Trump likes to bully and insult people by word of mouth, but is he also a physical bully? Things are getting violent between Democrats and Trump supporters and Trump seems to support the violence, even threatening to send some of his thugs over to Bernie rallies.
...

While there are many issues with Trump, including a tendency to run his mouth... it's the Sanders mob who are actually bringing the violence. Entirely unsurprising on a philosophical level, but sad to see it happening.

Intriguing. You take a good thing but seem to be presenting it as a bad thing?

Appealing to such a base level of ignorance in an effort to gain political support, how could it not incite violence ?

Exactly, he is appealing to ignorance. I had lunch with a few friends this week. I was amazed to hear one female friend say she supported Trump. Her statement for supporting him as she's laughing..."He's a hoot!" What's so funny about a narcissistic liar and bully who doesn't take responsibility for what he says?

Can you imagine this guy sitting down with other world leaders and heads of state to discuss foreign policy ? He probably can't even spell diplomacy.

I think this was the most glaring concern by most common sense voters. From the start, anyone who wasn't blinded by his celebrity status and his rich empire could immediately see that he can't take criticism and his temperament is like a spoiled child. That type of disposition will only create confrontations and result in dangerous and disastrous consequences when negotiating with world leaders.

What I find most worrying of all is that in a country the size of US, this selection of candidates is the best you have ? I

When a campaign has to be financed by millions of dollars, it only attracts the rich with big egos and a lust for power. The average peaceful middle-class Joe on the street doesn't have a chance.

His ego is unchecked, and unhealthy. Whenever we have to refer to the 'ego' as a separate entity, you know it is mentioned in an unhealthy way.

You are trying to present the argument that Donald has an ego, and having an ego is a normal thing, basically suggesting that I am against anyone having ego. You are wrong.

I am against unhealthy egos such as Donald's. His ego is unhealthy, unchecked, and free from all responsibility. Even the greatest leaders in history have checked their ego, if they didn't would not be the great leaders they are. That is what separate the leaders from the tyrants.

Please, try your methods elsewhere.

Actually, no. I'm suggesting that having a big ego isn't a problem. You can't lead unless your ego is big enough to let you say "I can do this better than someone else".

Some people might hide it better than others. Trump just doesn't fall into the "hiding his light under a bushel" crowd.

You might claim it's unhealthy but that doesn't mean it is actually unhealthy. It might mean that you are prone to jealousy, but it doesn't mean that Trump is unhealthy.

A man without a big ego is a man with nothing big to offer the world.

Trump has his issues, certainly, and I've said so in the past, but I don't quite see it this way. From where I'm sitting, it seems to me that the people showing much more aggression here and leaning toward violence are actually some of the people protesting him. They're the real bullies here, disrupting rallies, calling him (and by extension, his supporters) all sorts of names and attempting to provoke them, getting out of control in large numbers like in Chicago. When Trump calls them out for it...and yes, sometimes he gets carried away and runs his mouth too much... they run and whine to the media that they're the victims, when, in reality, they're actually the instigators, just like a schoolyard bully who runs and cries to the teacher when someone finally stands up to them.

Despite a number of problems that I have with Trump, this type of behavior from the left, which has been their standard operating procedure for years, gets precisely zero sympathy from me. Quite the opposite, actually.

I'm sorry, but this country has somehow produced a bunch of people who no longer take responsibility for their own actions......blaming Trump for the violence at his rallies is like blaming a woman for being raped because she wore a short dress, in my book......

I am voting for Trump because I would do ANYTHING to stop Hitlery......AND I like what he has to say.....AND, most importantly...because the BIG boys are running scared from Trump.....Trump is upsetting the very folks who, in my opinion, have DESTROYED America. I personally think it is too late.....America as I grew up with....is OVER......

I LIVE IN chicago and my husband has worked with some of these organizations back in the Bush days when he was protesting against the war in Iraq.......these are VERY organized people.......

At any rate, we can debate and finger point all we want.....but something BIG is going on in this country and we need to keep our eyes VERY WIDE OPEN for THAT....not get all "hey look, Squirrels" on the circus called politics that is going on right now to keep our ADD minds occupied.......

wanna blame someone? blame the media...they are called whores for a reason!!!!!

Who does?

Can you show me evidence of this? And not him having a fit mocking someone who mocks him simply because of their medical condition. if you wanna play with fire, you don't get to cry when you get burnt.. weak sauce.

So where has he bullied anyone? Hmm, maybe you are referring to the entire world more or less, mocking him, ridiculing him, not listening to a word he says, threatening him with assassination etc.

Oh did he once say something against the plethora of vitriol against him? What a bully...

prove points, please.

or are you just another mainstream wing nut kowtowing to the ever prevalent mass hysteria?

You only need to watch the documentary on trumps golf course in Scotland to see what a bully this man is. Willing to use his own private security to shut down opposition. He bullies senior citizens in Scotland who won't move to make way for his golf course. So yes he is a bully, yet that seems appealing to a large section of Americans

See your future president cut water supplies to senior citizens what a guy

Now, let me see you seek out just how intolerant and actually barbaric the other candidates are.

no?

they're good to go yeah? no problem with hillary you rekon.

What are his deeply racist issues.

I am intrigued. This is mentioned time and time again but only ever fleetingly.

Tell me.

I think that he is going to become a nationalist icon. Combined with his support of bullying and totalitarian tactics, this could turn into a mess.

I really don't see how its all Trumps fault all of a sudden. This country has been a cesspool for a while now.

In fact, thats a big part of his appeal as well I think. I haven't seen him say anything racist or sexist but that's all the establishment liars can talk about. He seems to upset alot of the status quo politicians, so thats why I'm getting out for the first time since 2004 and casting my pointless vote for him.

Finally.. a sane thinker.

you sir, are a breath of fresh air..

I dont agree with everything Trump says. But this violence is almost entirely being instigated by far left thugs.

More likely to be instigated by media manipulation.

They use the soundbites to stir up a nation, rinse and repeat until they get the desired effect.

I don't have stats but I would bet on Trumpet's "popularity" being directly correlated to the amount of airtime and coverage he gets.

Try getting your mindset out a little more. he is hated by all and sundry. but if you spend the time to listen, you cannot hear a thing they say.

All of these weak kneed twits calling him racist bogot blah blah, are fools. He is not saying anything evil, or discriminatory. and he is against things that the conglomerate establishment want and have on both dies. He is a wedge in their scenario. How best to erode your enemy than make the people hate him, with lies. Listen to his words. not what they put out, but HIS words.

nothing racist, nothing hateful. I dont even live there, and it sickens me to see so many idiots assume the stance their party tells them to, just to keep your country up # creek.
