And the officers involved. And the civil forfeiture money the department would have gotten this year. After all, they're not supposed to count on it, right?

Why not? The only time people really get the message is when you hit them in the pocket.

100% agree with you.. it is just the knowing he did this to someone he once loved. and was yet still in authority.

kinda scares me, because we are all so unknown. I just wanted to put out that I have never, could never know his mind. words are my sword. they are bad enough.

Life in prison is too good for him.

You take a life, you forfeit your own. Simple as that. Our society would be a much better place if everyone thought that way. Not to mention it would be better for taxes & hurt the prison industrial complex if we started putting down the real animals.

This is more the sentencing phase news, rather than the crime itself news.

It's a pity he didn't do this in LA, you can apparently blast the crap out of people in random vehicles there and cover it by saying 'whoops, we were afraid for our lives'.

That story made my stomach hurt.. It is the narcissistic psychopathy, of the police force as a whole...IMHO of course.
Let's hope, he is properly punished.. unless, of course, our judicial system, as a whole is under some sort of psychopathy, issues hmmm.. He deserves, the harshest of penalties, straight away. No protective custody, yeah!?

Maybe US cops should be fitted with electric shock collars with remote controls available on every street corner.

And if we put a shock collar on anyone who says something stupid then you would be one of the first recipients.

Not all cops are bad despite what the press or the internet says-Yes those who abuse the law should have the book thrown at them but should the entirety of the police force be punished for the actions of a handful of officers? No. I'm sorry but I can't tolerate those who punish an entire profession that helps protect the vulnerable just because a few bad eggs made some incredibly stupid decisions.

A cop could save your life one day. Show some respect for those folk who have saved lives instead of insinuating that the cops should be tagged like a household pet. That it incredibly insulting.

Civil forfeiture $$ is good..they probably stole it anyway. I still like the idea of going after pension funds, you want to watch an act get cleaned up that's how to do it.

I don't think so. I think it's a far better punishment to give them life in a cage. Execution is a way out. Plus I don't believe in giving the State the legal right to execute it's people. But it certainly should be able to contain violent people for the protection of society.

It's also not a matter of money. I have no problem being taxed to get people like this locked up so we're safe. The fact that the system is so jacked up that so much money is wasted on pot smokers and BS charges is the problem. If we had a system concentrating on actual crimes and violent offenders there would be plenty of money to handle the serious problems.

But I understand your point. It is too good for him. This guy deserves much worse, but as a civil society you also need to limit vengeful actions by the state too. You can't allow the state to murder people for you any more than you can allow people to murder people.

These good cops are turning a blind eye to all this, and helping them keep their jobs in doing so. That makes them bad cops too. They may be good cops when no other cops are around, but that they allow this to go on, means that no matter how good they are on the street they are bad cops in the end, because they accept and allow corruption in their own ranks.

Yeah a cop may save my life one day, but may also kill me, or lock me up unfairly. Hell an ex-con might save my life one day. I've worked worked with a few I would trust before many cops.

It's a joke.

You obviously don't know I've dedicated a lot of time to explaining to other British activists why we must support the British Constables.

This thread for example. One of many I started relating the the government/media/spook/banker war against the traditional Office of Constable. www.abovetopsecret.com...

A senior murder squad detective, when told I had said Paul McKeever was murdered, replied, "Everyone knows that".

They all know Paul McKeever was murdered, but if you search Paul Mckeever murdered what result do you get? Try it. I'm the only one saying it. I'm in an interesting position.

Try searching "Theresa May killed Paul Mckeever" in quotes. I should get arrested for saying the Home Secretary killed the chairman of the Police Federation. It hasn't happened. Could I be right?

It goes on and on, I could provide link after link.

You say a cop could save my life one day. I've used my life to support the British Constables. If I want to tease US cops about their trigger happy tendencies and inability to take responsibility for their own actions I'll do it.

Thank you.
