This affects all Americans who get the short end of the stick… Democrats and Republicans and Independents.

Former U. S. Secretary of Education , William J. Bennett's frankly candid and shocking observations of Donald Trump's impact on the behavior of the entrenched Washington D. C. bureaucrats in both parties -- and the risk The Donald faces in so doing.

What I See Happening In a Trump Presidency
By Bill Bennett

They will kill him before they let him be president. It could be a Republican or a Democrat that instigates the shutting up of Trump.
Don't be surprised if Trump has an accident. Some people are getting very nervous: Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Jon Corzine, to name just a few.

It's about the unholy dynamics between big government, big business, and big media. They all benefit by the billions of dollars from this partnership, and it's in all of their interests to protect one another. It's one for all and all for one.

It's a heck of a filthy relationship that makes everyone filthy rich, everyone except the American people. We get ripped off. We're the patsies. But for once, the powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared. The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media, and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened.

Donald Trump can self-fund. No matter how much they say to the contrary, the media, business, and political elite understand that Trump is no joke. He could actually win and upset their nice cozy apple cart. It's no coincidence that everyone has gotten together to destroy The Donald. It's because most of the other politicians are part of the a good old boys club. They talk big, but they won't change a thing. They are all beholden to big-money donors. They are all owned by lobbyists, unions, lawyers, gigantic environmental organizations, and multinational corporations - like Big Pharmacy or Big Oil. Or they are owned lock, stock, and barrel by foreigners like George Soros owns Obama or foreign governments own Hillary and their Clinton Foundation donations.

These run-of-the-mill establishment politicians are all puppets owned by big money. But there's one man who isn't beholden to anyone There's one man who doesn't need foreigners, or foreign governments, or George Soros, or the United Auto Workers, or the teacher's union, or the Service Employees International Union, or the Bar Association to fund his campaign.

Billionaire tycoon and maverick Donald Trump doesn't need anyone's help. That means he doesn't care what the media says. He doesn't care what the corporate elites think. That makes him very dangerous to the entrenched interests. That makes Trump a huge threat to those people. Trump can ruin everything for the bribed politicians and their spoiled slave masters.

Don't you ever wonder why the GOP has never tried to impeach Obama? Don't you wonder why John Boehner and Mitch McConnell talk a big game, but never actually try to stop Obama? Don't you wonder why Congress holds the purse strings, yet has never tried to de-fund Obamacare or Obama's clearly illegal executive action on amnesty for illegal aliens? Bizarre, right? It defies logic, right?

First, I'd guess many key Republicans are being bribed. Secondly, I believe many key Republicans are being blackmailed. Whether they are having affairs, or secretly gay, or stealing taxpayer money, the National Security Agency knows everything.

Ask former House Speaker Dennis Hastert about that. The government even knew he was withdrawing large sums of his own money from his own bank account. The NSA, the SEC, the IRS, and all the other three-letter government agencies are watching every Republican political leader. They surveil everything. Thirdly, many Republicans are petrified of being called racists, so they are scared to ever criticize Obama or call out his crimes, let alone demand his impeachment. Fourth , why rock the boat? After defeat or retirement, if you're a good old boy, you've got a $5 million-per-year lobbying job waiting. The big-money interests have the system gamed. Win or lose, they win.

But Trump doesn't play by any of these rules. Trump breaks up this nice, cozy relationship between big government, big media, and big business. All the rules are out the window if Trump wins the Presidency. The other politicians will protect Obama and his aides but not Trump. Remember: Trump is the guy who publicly questioned Obama's birth certificate. He questioned Obama's college records and how a mediocre student got into an Ivy League university. Now, he's doing something no Republican has the chutzpah to do.

He's questioning our relationship with Mexico; he's questioning why the border is wide open; he's questioning why no wall has been built across the border; he's questioning if allowing millions of illegal aliens into America is in our best interests; he's questioning why so many illegal aliens commit violent crimes, yet are not deported; and he's questioning why our trade deals with Mexico, Russia and China are so bad.

There'a more to read in the link above.

This is the only reason I support Trump. It's not that I like Trump personally, I don't.

However, Trump has helped exposed how corrupt Congress really is and we are witnessing it unfold in the mainstream media and their Press.

This really amazes me, now we get to witness how the Powers That Be in Washington control what supposed to be We The People elections.

We have been fools to believe our votes count and the elections are fare and not corrupt. But what we are witnessing is the opposite.

My "opinion" is, if the Republicans change their rules to stop Trump from being nominated, when he has the most votes, then I believe the Republican party will be over.

So ATSer's do you believe if the Republican party changes their rules at the convention and block Trump from winning, do you believe the Republican party will be finished?

If they block Trump at the convention, that will be a shoe in for Hillary. My guess is they know that and would prefer it to Trump.

The part about them planning to kill Trump is disturbing.

I dislike the other republican candidates more then Donald, and without some of his scary stances like violating international law etc, he does actually say a few good things - bush administration lies, trade policies effecting American jobs that him and bernie are in agreement on. But i don't understand why people say trump will be killed before he becomes president.

As I've said here before, his policies aren't anything the elites are worried about. He's gonna give tax breaks to the rich and thinks the minimum wage is too high, he's not gonna go after big pharma and the private health insurance companies, he's not gonna break up the Wall Street banks, he's not gonna go after corporations hiding their money in off-shore accounts, and he's pro-war which keeps the military industrial complex and war profiteers in business by profiting off the deaths of others. These stances are held by sanders, so in my opinion he would be the candidate that would "be killed before he became president".

I agree with you, however Trump is not going to toe the line, he will do things his way, and I believe that is what the politions in Washington are afraid of.

Thats what all America and the world should be afraid of.

An egomaniac racist, with self esteem issues who abuses women and makes fun of the disabled, and throws a fit when he doesnt get his way, with his finger on the nuclear button.

Trump is not my choice, but I love the scrambling of those against his bid for the nomination. It's telling how the powerbrokers of the Rep. Party are doing all they can to derail his campaign, the press focusing on ejected troublemakers at his rallies(we don't see this at HRC events, save for the ex-marine incident) instead of speach content,
and the fear of those entrenched in politics shiver at the thought of a nomination, let alone a Trump presidency.

It's fun for us little people to see those who've reached the pinnacle of power stumble over themselves at the thought of an uncontrollable Trump as the nominee.

I think they're finished anyway. They're going to lose the White House. Their only chance is if Hillary gets the nomination and, somehow, finds herself in legitimate legal trouble. Other than that, they're not winning in November. Between in-party fighting and general disapproval of their candidates they don't have that branch of government.

They might lose the senate too. Especially if they gamble big on this SCOTUS stuff until the election.

Thanks to well gerrymandered districts, they're going to hold the house though.

So many spins on the candidates is making my head hurt. I do agree with the points you made, but why the hatred? Couldn't Trump have communicated things better. Would help me believe in him more.

He never communicates better, go back and read some of his speeches, go back and read some of the things hes said
Research some of the things hes done to reporters all the way back to the 90s, his lies, his vitriol, his advances towards women that were turned down, and once turned down he would stalk them and send them mail with him in it , with creepy sayings.

Hes a psychopath, clinical

That's what I mean. He hasn't. If he's such a great guy why can't he show more tact. Honesty. It would better align with his so called mission or whatever you would call it to challenge the eatablishment

As Im told, Trump is a guy that thinks business, eats , sleeps and hangs with family. Sure, Trump has a social deficit in a way and that should be expected, he isn't a priest, he is a businessman running for president. No one is going to be perfect and everyone was cheezy in the 80s not just Trump, lets all go back to our 80s picks if we are old enough. I am voting Trump. Mitt Romney and all of those other very uncool people against him should make anyone want to vote for the guy. Also IM NOT BLUE COLLAR, ANGRY OR FED UP ! and if I was that's great too. The way I see it Trump isn't a conventional left/right or any of that, he is Trump and that's what you get. If You don't want someone that speaks their mind then vote for someone who doesn't. AND PLEASE notice how many women are at his rallies, women love that guy and they say women hate him on the news, that's an amazingly inaccurate misconception.

If Trump winds up being killed there will be anarchy in every street in every city and town and a civil war will ensue that will make the former civil war look like a romper room squabble.

People will lock and load and storm Capitol Hill and show no mercy to anyone with a badge and a gun, and they won't stop until this country looks like a carnival after closing.

I do not want to see that happen.

As far as the OP goes, it is a spot on evaluation of exactly the entire truth of what is happening.

I don't think so. In that kind of scenario, I believe someone will play the loyal opposition -- loyal to the party, but opposed to the rule changes... it's so unfair! that's not who we are! we must stop the party elite! reform! And that person will "lead" the reform to the party. That person will go through the motions, give the disenfranchised a place to rant and rave, no doubt egging them on in completely non-productive and worthless ways, and of course collect plenty of donations from the faithful...

And nothing will change.

“Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father .

"You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body"

“Ivanka, what’s the favorite thing you have in common with your father,” Williams asks. “Either real estate, or golf,” Ivanka replies.

“Donald?” Williams prompts.

“Well, I was going to say sex"
