Thank you for the manifesto. I collect these. I enjoy reading people's last words, people that think their reality was so important that it must be thrust into public awareness.

At least he wasn't a flat earth disciple, that would be really nuts.

Jokes aside, most people end up feeding themselves over and over until they become so immersed in a train of thought, that they can't get out. Only they can break themselves free, mentally, from some of these fantasies.

This guy was allegedly so whacked out of his mind that he's seeing Martians everywhere, but not so whacked out that his family would notice anything odd. Doesn't make sense.

Questions have been raised about why the TSA allowed the suspect to fly to Washington DC even after a BOLO('be on the lookout') alert had been issued. But there is another good reason he should have popped up on their radar. Odom apparently bought a one-way ticket right before his flight--which is a big red flag to the TSA ever since 911. Why they didn't grill him about this? And where is the video footage of him at the airport?

Here are the answers given about TSA and how the suspect was allowed on the flight. At the very least the one way ticket right before boarding should have been addressed.

Schizophrenia can be mild to severe. It is rare, and most schizophrenics are not violent or dangerous to others. The signs of the disease can become more severe; it would be possible for Mr. Odom to have drifted into the severe symptoms over time. What he did does not mean that he necessarily became schizophrenic at 30.

I've known newly diagnosed schizophrenics as young as 16 and as old as 26. Male and female. It takes great family and mental health provider support, but most schizophrenics I've known were able to function in life, holding down good jobs, have families. Schizophrenia cannot be cured, but it can be monitored.

Those of us who have the luxury of not being schizophrenic find it hard to relate to a voice in your head telling you to hide in a closet all day, to kill yourself, or to have such a break with reality, that the unreal is your reality and you react extremely as M. Odom did.

This shooting incident has some odd parallels with the shooting of US Rep Gabriel Giffords and others on 1-8-11 in Tucson AZ by Jared Loughner, 22


We are told that the pastor first came to the attention of the shooter after an 'accidental' text message:

His manifesto said he bought a TracFone prior to the attack. Odom claims that about a month later, he randomly got a text from Pastor John Padula, inviting him to check out the Altar Church. Padula said the text (w)as a misdial, but regardless the two strangers were connected. Odom took Padula up on his offer to see the church. That's where Odom crossed paths with Tim Remington. Odom claims Remington began texting him as well.

Kyle Odom allegedly posted a message on his Facebook account about the reason for the shooting of Remington. The statement reads:

When Loughner first arrived at a Missouri prison facility for treatment, he was convinced Giffords was dead, even though he was shown a video of the shooting.

I had a friend, both her son and daughter "developed" schizophrenia.

They were just typical teenagers, then it started happening and the nightmare of getting them help began.

She quit her job and went back to school to get a psychology degree - - to do whatever she could to learn how to help them and others.

It became her life.

Ugh I cant believe that some of the people responding on here actually seem to be entertaining the idea this guy is telling the truth......

And to the other conspiracy "Monarch" people, why would it make a difference to target this pastor? That makes no sense, why not target someone who actually has more standing......

If Odom really is crazy, then to him he really is telling the truth. If he's making up the Martian stuff, then he isn't crazy.

According to his manifesto, at some point Odom was approached by two of his fellow college students who allegedly tried to get Odom to carry out a school shooting. Police are claiming that Odom was inside the church, armed, while the service was going on. So there has been some speculation that he might have originally been planning to shoot up the entire church.

There are a number of other odd discrepancies in this case:


Odom is supposed to have family in Coeur d’Alene. Yet initial sources said his family was down in New Mexico. Which is it?

Also note we haven't heard a peep about the results of any searches of his domicile or his car found at the airport in Boise, Idaho. Police have said they haven't located the .45cal pistol.

Police said security video at the church shows the suspect shooting Remington multiple times just before 2 p.m. Sunday. Investigators identified Odom as the suspect through evidence at the scene, interviews with witnesses and review of the video footage.

Note they specifically don't say they traced him through his vehicle license plate.

At Monday night’s vigil, Lee Lancaster said the more he learns about Odom, the more he’s confused by the shooting.
“Nothing we’ve learned about this guy fits the profile,” Lancaster said. “This guy would have fit right into this church.”

I get robocalls for Trump events even though I'm not a Trump supporter, does that mean I'm being "accidentally invited" to attend a Trump event and pull a Loughner? NO! Of course not! Loughner was a poster here, he was mentally ill and insisted that, among other things, the space shuttle was a hoax and there was a massive conspiracy in the government to hide the truth. There's no great mystery here, the guy was deeply mentally ill and so he shot up an event attended by a pro-NASA congresswoman and the wife of a space shuttle commander. It's ironic, if disturbing, to see posters on the same site he used to post on now try to invent new conspiracies to excuse his behavior and the behavior of other mentally ill people as being a conspiracy.

I'd wager plenty of people have their own private manifestos which never become public. Do you have any thoughts or ideas as to what the ignition factor, the trigger, the spark, the impulse, the force might be which impels the person to thrust theirs into public awareness?
